Have to attend a Support Group Meeting

I finished all of my Pre-Op testing (finished them all on in 1 day-Yay) for DVR and I am supposed to attend a St. Agnes Support Group. Do you know if it can be any support group? I am closest to Calvert County, but didn't know if I have to go to the support group at St. Agnes. Also, any pre-op diet suggestions. I have to loose 10 lbs by March. I'm down 4 lb, just by cutting back calories, but don't know if there is any other diet ideas that can give me a boost. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

Hello, I am unsure if you must attend the support group that your doc offers. I can tell you that Melissa aka Calvertmom just started a support group down towards Prince Frederick. I am sure if you post to her she can give you dates and times. She is the group leader and is a very nice lady. I think you would like her. I don't know much about diet ideas. Hopefully some of the others here can give you some good advice. Good luck and I am sure you can lose that 10 pounds by March.

you should call the office and ask them. I'm pretty sure you have to attend DVR's group so they can doccument that you attended.
The RNY support grop is the first Tuesday of the month so it's this coming tuesday at 6 pm.
I would give up diet soda if you are drinking it
I would also cut back on carbs and up your protein if possible.
