Thank you everyone for the advice and I have gotten answers to my questions.  My payment of cobra will about 115 a month for the next 15 months.  I will be sent new paper work for the upcomming openen rollment.  Cobra is affordable, thank goodness, and if the new insurance is wls friendly then maybe I can get the surgery done in the spring.
never settle for less than you deserve and you deserve only the best.

That's great news Lori!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Lori, so glad you were able to get answers. I am hoping that you will be able to have your surgery. I know you have been waiting so long. Good Luck....
