BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!  And.....BRRRRRRRRRRRR!  OMG!!  It's cold out there!!!  Tell me please, why I decided going out first thing this a.m. for a haircut was a good idea?  Jeez!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  A day off.  Even if it's unpaid.  I'm going out with my hs bff tonight, so that should be fun!

2.  Flavored hot tea - YUM!  Cupid's Arrow - Cherry, vanilla and almond flavors - VERY soothing!

3.  Red nail polish - I don't know why - it's just a cheery color!!!  I do self-manicures and must have about 200 bottles of polish, but it's always fun to try a new one!!  LOL!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!!  Stay warm!

Hugs,

Tia

Good morning Tia!
Yes it is cold!!!!!! I got up & made Kels some hot oatmeal before she had to leave & took the dogs out & thought, HOLY CRAP tomorrow I will be in water colder than this! LOL
Today is a rough one for me.... a year ago my cousin was found hanging in his girlfriends closet. I was at the knee doctor having my stitches removed when I got the call that he was on lifesupport at Shock Trauma. A few short hours later, his father pulled the plug because he was gone. But at least I was there to say I love you & see ya later. There are still no answers in  this.....police have not been able to answer was it suicide or murder.....too many factors & no cooperation from her.

Today I am grateful for:
1} fond memories of Jason. He was one of the most gentle people you would ever meet....even tho looking him was a bit scarey....tats everywhere, piercings, and crazy hair. I miss you J & love you still!
2} Family.....we all need each other today & I know we will all be there for one another.
3}Friends....again, they are always around when I need them & when I dont!
4} that its one day closer to having this plunge over with! Probably take me a week to get some heat bck in my body! LOL

Have a great weekend!

Heather, I agree it is cold. I am sorry about Jason this happened with my Aunt as well. I still say she did not hang herself. I think her damn husband did it. I went to see a psychic and she told me she saw a man with a bird tattoo on his arm with a pillow over her face. I called the police and wanted the case reopened but was told it has been to long. I want him to pay so bad.

I hope you have fun at the plunge. I sent my donation but am unsure if they got it. I did not see the cashed check yet. Drink lots of coffee so you will hopefully stay warm.

So true about family and even more true about friends.

I am sending you a hug. You sound like you could use one or maybe a dozen.

Take care and hope you are feeling better & remember I am sure Jason loves and misses you to.

Today I am grateful for.

1. - My RNY - every day something happens that reminds me just who much healthier I am since it.  Today it's the baggy pants that just 6 weeks ago I couldn't fit into and the shirt I bought several years ago, ignoring that it didn't really fit because I liked it.  Now it fits just fine.  I know the numbers on the scale are likely to slow down soon - but for now I can't get too concerned about that.  (Someone throw this in my face when I have my first whine about a stall - and you all know it's going to happen, lol)

2. - Sena.  Ok it's an ugly truth I am learning that my intestines aren't processing waste quite as well as they did pre-op.  (Man I was a machine back then, reminds me of the old computer maxim - garbage in, garbage out.)  And sometimes it's more than uncomfortable it's painful.  My friend Sena always seems to take care of this when it gets out of hand.

3. - Sleep.  I have had a couple of weeks of restless sleep.  The last week or so, I've been struggling to keep my eyes open after 9:30 - but I am sleeping great through the night.  Good sleep can certainly help put your mind right for facing the day.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Morning Russ!!!

Although the scale may pause here and there, your numbers certainly won't be coming to a complete stop for a good while!!  Isn't that so cool?  I remember actually feeling kind of sad because I had SO many clothes that I just sailed right past - I ended up trying clothes on every single week because I was losing so rapidly.

Trust me, honey, NO ONE'S innards process the same way anymore.  A lot of people have to help things along!

Speaking of sleep, since I'm off today, I see a nap in my future before I go out tonight!

Have a great weekend!

Hugs,

Tia

Hi Russ,

Trust me I had the same issuea nd my husband too. But the good thing is that it will get better down the line.
Our surgeon suggested we take benefiber fiber 3 times a day to help. That way it keeps you regular until you can add more fiber in your diet.

Benefiber was our best friend for the 1 year post op!  LOL

I hope you get to rest this weekend.

Great job on the weight loss you are doing fantastic!
