V-day plans

Just because I made them and am proud of myself for doing it, I was wondering what others are doing for V-day.

I got a night out package at the Admiral Fells Inn, whi*****ludes:

- 1 night stay in a king bedroom at the inn
- 1/2 bottle each of a chardonnay and a cabernet in our room
- 2 stemless wine glasses
- 4 course dinner for 2
- coupons for free drinks at bars in Fells point for after dinner
- Breakfast for 2 at the inn
- vouchers for sightseeing in the Inner Harbor

All for $300

So, we're going to head out on the town morning of the 14th.

Brunch at the Rusty Scupper (you should see their menu for their Sunday Brunch)
Then, I'm taking Jeff to the Tattoo museum in Fells Point.
Check in to hotel, nap, wine, dinner, walk around Fells Point, breakfast the next morning

Then, I am letting him go into the USS Torsk, the submarine in the Inner Harbor while I shop at Filene's Basement. He's been wanting to go for 4 years but my claustrophobia won't let me go. And, he hates shopping with me so this will be our 2 hour "time for me."

Then, home to recoup from the mini vacay!

February 14th is my 3rd wedding anniversary! I am not quite sure what yet what we are doing. But I know I will enjoy it!

I kept putting it off saying we'll just do dinner and movie or something but this sounded like such a good deal. I hope it works out.

sounds awesome.  I've been to teh Torsk.  it's tiny... he might have a hard time... but  he will love it.

Sylvie that sounds wondeful! V-day is Mine and my hubby's 6 year wedding anniversary and we were supposed to take a weekend trip to Florida with My best friend and her hubby but due to him being laid off, finance's caused us to post pone the trip! So were gonna see that Movie Valentines day and lunch at Red Lobster which is our Favorite resturant (I used to work there also so I get to see old co workers too)

Kelly, sorry about you having to change plans. Guess what there is always next year or the next 20 after that. My hubby and I planned on getting a new Corvette for our 25Th but it did not happen. I told him maybe for our 50Th. Then I said I thought it was a requirement to have gray hair when you but the vette. LOL. Sometimes we have to make the best of what we have until things change. I am sure you will have fun with plan B. My hubby and I love Red Lobster also. We go to the one in Annapolis.

Thanks Julie!!! Yes Florida will always be there and lukily we were staying with my friends in-laws so we didnt have reservations anywhere that would have cost us and lost out! Hopefully we can try for next year
