I had the same thing and could not catch my breath for a bit afterwards...it was a shock to the system!!

I had my drain taken out before I left the hospital but wow Angie you nailed the experience. Great description. If you don't mind, I'll be stealing the alien being pulled out of my body description. May be tmi but same could be said of when they pulled my catheter out, lol.

Shucks no alien on the end of it. Glad you did great Angie. I'll be about 4 months behind you for the sleeve but I will be there soon. After all my scar tissue is gone from the lapband.

Oh gosh I hope she feels much better. I never had a drain with surgery. I dont think my Doc does them for anyone ;o)

Doing MUCH better, thanks. I just hope it's enough for me to sleep in bed tonight. I'm a side sleeper and one side is still rather sore.

Angie, glad to know your drain is out. I hope you will be able to get some rest now and be more comfortable. Congrats on the drain being gone. Sorry you had to have the experince.
