I Need Help Finding a Psch, for Mental health Eval????

I've called about 10 offices today without any luck ,either they were'nt accepting new patients or they didn't provide that type of service..This is holding back some other steps.I am currently taking my 6 month weight management classes and need any advice to get pass this.I have priority partners and can't afford to pay for a service that they cover.(((HELP)))

are you working w/ a surgeon yet? if so, they should give you a name of a psychiatrist to do the eval. the people the other ladies mentioned can not give a psych eval. i think it has to be a psychiatrist.

Try Sheppard Pratt at Harford Memorial. Check with your insurance first. I went to them for my pre op Its either Dr Ansari or Dr Rizvi. They are both super!

I can't even remember who I went to... I just did it with the person my surgeon recommended to get it over with... It was worth the $150 out of pocket just to know it was done and that she knew what needed to be in the letter to get me past that stage...
