Surgery date changed

Well I went up to G.W. for my preliminary checkup and to get a game plan together for my  sleeve surgery. The doc talked me into going 4 months instead of 3 months til surgery because he said he really likes to wait a 4 month period so as to not make it harder on his patients when he has to cut and trim scar tissue from my removed band area. So for right now it will be on the 10th of May which doesn't bother me any because I would rather be safe than sorry.  Dr. Brody said that with it this way he can go in and get a straight cut instead of a jagged cut around the scar tissue. Seems like a long time but it will be here quicker than i think.

Hey honey!

Sounds like Dr. Brody is doing right by you.  I'm so glad.  After all you've been through, one more month won't be a big deal.

And you're right, the time will fly and soon it'll be spring and time for the renewed you!!

Hugs,

T

Well, it's better to wait until it's easier on the patient.  Hopefully the time will fly by for you!

I like a doctor who errs on the side of caution.
