3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!
My three -
1. Great doctor's appointment - even if my scale is stalled, my numbers are great.
2. Family - my nephew is moving home from Jacksonville on March 1st to go back to school. OMG I love that boy. And my neice heard her baby's heartbeat yesterday. Awwww
3. Friends - my bff's husband is going in for brain surgery Friday...they have two beautiful little boys and another baby on the way...keep them in your prayers.

I've now got three babies to make blankies for! My cousin, my niece and my bestie...egads, I hope it isn't contageous!

1. - My six week appointment yesterday with my surgeon. When she walked in the room I hugged her and thanked her for all she did for me. I just know my life is on such a different path than it was on 6 short weeks ago.
2. - Syntrex Orange flavored protein powder. I finally found one I can drink every morning at breakfast with ease. I like others but they usually require doctoring (sf pudding mix, etc) this one goes into the blender ball cup with 6 ounces of cold water a couple of shakes and tada - breakfast is served. Nice to start the day out with 23 grams in the protein column
3. - The support of my wife. She is amazing - no matter what's going on in her life - what stressors she's facing - she always can make room in it for me to vent about whatever is making me crazy (and there's been a lot of that in the last six weeks.) She knows that not every vent needs fixing and when she does make an observation I trust her enough to pay attention and listen. I have told her this often but I will repeat it over and over - I could not have gotten up and gone to the hospital that morning 6 weeks ago (today) without her love and support.
HOpe you all have a great day today.
Hey Russ -
Bet if you added a scoop of vanilla protein powder to your orange, it'd taste like a Creamsicle. Okay, probably NOT, but it's amazing the things we can convince ourselves of!!!
I always enjoy reading about your family - sounds like you have a solid foundation there. And that's SOOOOOOOOOOO important!! While I have the best friends in life, I would be totally lost without my family. Even if I want to sell them sometimes!! I look forward to meeting your wife soon - oh, yeah, and you, too! LOL!
Happy 6 weeks!!! Keep up the good work!
Hugs,
Tia
Today, I'm grateful...
1. For having finally had my pain management appointment yesterday and I'm scheduled for nerve block injections on Feb 12th. Hopefully that will alleviate my back/leg pain!
2. For the silver lining of staying in the hospital for a few days, aside from being able to see Angie...2 lbs gone!! WOOT! 7 more to goal!!
3. That although he hasn't found anything full time yet, Mike has been picking up side work here and there, which is a good thing!
Have a great day!
Heather
