Primary Care Follow Up

You and I are in the same boat with the colonoscopy.  My father and grandfather were both colon cancer patients so I go every 5 years as well.  Gee, thanks for reminding me to make my appointment!  It doesn't bother me anymore because I know it is a MUST DO! 

My last A1C was 5.9 with no meds, no nothing!  I have not taken Byetta or Metformin since my surgery date in May 2009.  What a great feeling, isn't it!  Never had high blood pressure or sleep apnea, but I'm sure both were lurking around the corner for me.

I can't wait until I'm on NO meds.  They still have me on metformin, but not for diabetes - it's for the PCOS.  Uh, we won't be testing to see if that goes away.
