I've switched to Walmart BODY FORTRESS whey protein powder.  It's half the price of Syntrax Nectar, mixes easily with coffee, etc. and tastes so much bette!  I even have my husband using it.  I mix a scoop of the chocolate flavor (26 g. protein) in our coffee and and it's like drinking lattae.  For lunch, we have cookie 'n cream, in skim milk, banana, and ice.  It's better than McDonalds shakes!  Also have my husband on egg beaters omlete, in the a.m. and he doesn't even know it's not reall eggs!  What he doesn't know, will only help him, hehehehe!

Have a great day,
Ginger

Ginger,

It's a great product I use it daily.  I even use it to bake.

I've heard of spouses who have not had WLS losing weight just from lifestyle changes.  that's a great thing.

It's the only protein powder that I like even almost 3 years post op!!!  It's good with coffee in it. I like he Vanilla flavor most.

Thanks for sharing.  Glad your hubby is enjoying it too.

Thanks for the advice. I have been drinking shakes made from skim milk, soy milk and whey protein (from whole foods) for over 6 months now. Love my whey protein shakes but that stuff is expensive! I'm going to have to check out walmart now!

The good thing is that the body fortress is whey protein too. I have been using it for 3 years and I have never lacked in protein when I have had my labs done. Less than 15 bucks  for an jug that is almost 2 pounds you can't beat that!

I actually was recommended the Walmart Body Fortress from people on here and have been hooked since! Not only is it cheap, but one of the easiest proteins for me to tolerate!
