3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY EVE
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Music - Heard a great new (to me) song by Uncle Cracker called "Smile," about how hearing from someone, seeing them and thinking about them makes you smile. That's me!!!!!
And I make sure I tell him, too!2. I'm going to be able to pay off some bills!! Thank God!
3. That Boxer Heather has been diagnosed!!! While it's unfortunate that she has a bleeding ulcer, at least they know and can treat it accordingly! Hopefully, she'll be released today or SOON!
4. That Angie is doing really well!!! We all remember those first days pre-op, and I've every hope that things will improve for her. I'm going to see her on Saturday and I'm so excited!

Today, I'm grateful...
1. For having a proper diagnosis. Looks like they are upping the Protonix to 2x per day, adding carafate 3x per day, and restricting my diet. I have to have another endoscopy in 12 weeks to assess healing, which is fine because it wasn't a horrible experience at all...thank God for Twilight drugs!!
2. For being able to take a shower this morning. They are going to remove one of my IV's and cover the other one...I cannot WAIT!!!
3. That hopefully I'll be realeased to go home today. I can't wait to sleep in my own bed again and get some much needed protein in!
4. That I got to eat real food this morning. One meal yesterday and the day before of clear liquids, and nothing the day before that just does not cut it! They were supposed to give me a low carb meal but got a low cholesterol meal instead, whi*****luded two little pancakes. Oh well, I'm full and feel more human again.
5. To all of my friends...thank you to Heather M. for stopping by to see me and Angie last night. Sorry I was so groggy after my procedure!!

I'm sorry you've had to go through all of this, but glad they're getting to the bottom of it. Been soooo scared for ya!
Ah, the power of a hot shower!!! It ranks right up there with a hot cup of tea for its healing properties!

Good morning! Sorry about the insurance issues...gah...I totally understand after my poor mom's mess four years ago.
I'm so glad they got to the bottom of things with Heather - hope she and Angie are BOTH sprung today!
Today, I'm greatful for:
1. It's nearly Friday in my week from you-know-where...busy week and I can't wait for it to end!
2. Learned yesterday some good news from work...since I know for a fact there's another person on this board from where I work, I won't talk about it, but it is good news for my husband and I. Yay.
3. Heather got her diagnosis, and hopefully some solid food today.
4. My husband's family. They have been such cheerleaders for me since I decided to have surgery. My mother-in-law called last night to see how I was and told me she just can't wait to see me in May. I can't wait to go to Colorado and see the whole family and show off my shrinking hiney!
School starts back up for me today...I'll be pretty slammed until April when class is over...then just when we leave for Colorado at the end of May, my summer session will start...sigh. I got spoiled with my semesters off for surgery...LOL
