Yesterday I got great news. I mean wonderful news. I finished my last weigh in for the insurence people and tomorrow I go to finish the paper work for the insurence and get a chest x-ray and ekg and labs and then Im done. then the worst part really begins. The wait. I know it will go by quickly but I just want it so much I can taste it. I couldnt believe it though no more weigh ins. Wish me luck and soon Ill be pushin my way onto the losers bench. GO ME!!!

GO YOU!!
You're doing great, and you are right, waiting for something that you want soooo bad is miserable. Every min. seems like a hour. I know that you are probably sick of hearing this but, try to keep really busy. Hopefully you will get the approval sooner rather than later, but a approval is a approval! The chest x-ray, labs and EKG are easy, so you are almost home free I wish you luck, I will keep my fingers crossed, and you don't need to push your way on the bench, we will make room and slide over!! Great name you got there!, Leslie:)

Wow, this is great news. I am sure you are very excited. I hope you get all of your tests done and you pass with flying colors. I will hope that your surgery comes quickly and that your surgery is uncomplicated.  GOOD LUCK ! Good things come to those who wait.

Lesley, you know I'm so happy for you.  I know exactly how you feel!  I didn't get "cold feet" until the night before the surgery!  Then I didn't sleep the whole night!  BEST decision I ever made, only 2nd to divorcing my 1st husband!!!!  Time'll go by so fast, and I bet this time next month, you'll be recovering!

this is the hard part, the wait for the approval.

if you have a chest xray and labs done and surgery is more than 30 days from that date then you will probably need them done again.... that's just SOP.

also after DH and I thought we were done with weigh ins for the doc we found out we were NOT.   we had to weigh every single time we went to the office and we both had gained enough that he almost canceled the surgery... so although you are done with your insurance weigh ins you may want to continue to watch what you eat....

good luck!
