3 THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY
Morning Russ! Yeah, I'm up early every day, but this a.m., since it was my first time on the Beltway, I wanted to allow myself a little time.
I, too, am really lucky that my job and bosses are so flexible!
You're experincing lost of NSVs (non-scale victories) - they're what REALLY tell you that all this was worth it!
Keep up the good work!
Hugs,
T
PHEW...they have us up early here! My endoscopy isn't until this afternoon probably, so I'll head over to see Angie and perhaps walk some laps with her.
THANK YOU to Darla and Kathy for stopping by yesterday and THANK YOU for the balloons...you guys RAWK!
Today, I'm grateful...
1. That they allowed me to "eat" last night. Although, I got a newly post-ops bariatric meal of 4 oz. of crystal light, 4 oz. chicken broth, and 4 oz. of jello....and then had crystal light w/unflavored unjury and another 20 oz. of plain crystal light...it was like heaven. It was amazing to realize that what took me maybe 20 minutes to get down, took hours 15 months ago.
2. That my scope is scheduled for today and that God willing, they will be able to determine the problem, issue treatment, and let me go HOME!! Bayview has been great but you certainly don't get any sleep when you are in a hospital!
3. For my DH for bringing me some necessities yesterday, along with a new stuffed boxer to keep me company while I'm in.
4. My friends, who have actually checked up on my more than my own family (except for my mother). LYTTMAB!!
Heather
I'm not sure what's going to happen with travel, depends on what the tests show today probably. The travel will happen with or without me, they've come up with a Plan C since we were on Plan B already. LOL!
Just did a couple of laps around the surgical floor with Angie and she came and got ME. She's doing well!!
LYT!
1. Our health! We walked and walked and walked while in India and there's no way I could have done that before the surgery. And, everyone there keptsyaing how I'd become weak, which is hilarious since I was still bigger than 95% of the people there.
2. Patience. Santa must have brought me some patience because I opened up mail from last montha nd found medical bills that insurance hasn't paid from last June! Instead of screaming down the halls, I am being calm and waiting or their office to open so I can call. Hah, maybe my patience will disappear then.
3. My puppy. The poor boy was so upset with us for leaving him for a month. He pooped on our carpet as soon as we got home. I know he did it to show us because he had just gone outside too. And he lost 2 lbs :( Now we're on a goal to have him regain that weight since he's already underweight for his breed.
Good Morning Everyone
Glad the pain is better and B didn't have any major problem yesterday!
Today I am grateful
1. To see Angie's post on facebook 6 hours ago that she was alive , well, and up
walking. Kathy and I decided not to risk waking her since the door was shut
so Kathy left her balloons outside her door.
2. That Heather gets her scope today : heres hoping they find the problem
and she can go home to her furbabies.
3. Its bowling night , I'm not great but I enjoy myself- I bowl with 3 guys who
are totally different, one Funny, one laidback and one guy who has
made it his mission to coach me - and its starting to pay off.
Have a good day everyone
