3 THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY
So today, I'm grateful for:
1. The pain is SOMEWHAT better. Figures, huh? I have a doctor's appt. and it's better!! LOL!!
2. That B bounced right back from his asthma attack yesterday. They were jumping rope in gym when it suddenly hit him. A couple treatments and a BK double cheeseburger and he was good as new!!
3. That Angie's a loser!! Her hubby, Bill, said she felt pretty rough yesterday, so hopefully, today will bring all kinds of improvement!
4. Boxer Heather gets scoped today! Let's hope they can find and fix whatever ails her! Thanks to Darla and Kathy for checking on her!!!
Have a great day!
Tia
Glad B's attack was bouncable.
I also hope they get to the bottom of Boxer's issues...and she gets to eat something other than IV fluids today. :-)
Bad start to our day here - our TV went up this morning - of course, since we booked our Colorado trip yesterday, we can't afford a NEW tv, so we have to figure out how to get the 32" upstairs and pray for a tax refund. Sigh.
My troubles are nothing, however, compared to the poor people in Haiti - another quake this morning...
Here are mine:
1. Angie is a loser!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Our Colorado trip is booked and we spent less than $1,000 this year - including airfare and rental. Thank goodness we don't have to pay for hotels except for one weekend, but we get a corporate rate there since its for the family reunion.
3. My grand daughter found that she is not allergic to animals, but is allergic to EVERYTHING else, and that's why she's having ear issues. She's got a cyst in her inner ear and will be going in for surgery next month, but at least they got to the bottom of the problem and hopefully the new allergy treatment will prevent any further problems. We're hoping she doesn't have anymore permanent hearing loss.

Actually, self-diagnosing here, I think I have a cracked rib. I can feel this weird "clicking" sound along with the pain. Strange.
Boxer can't afford to lose anymore weight, so I hope they do give her something besides liquids after her test.
Those poor people, and they suffered a 6.1 aftershock this a.m.! OMG!!!
Ever heard of Westminster, CO?
Aw, the poor grandbaby! I hope they resolve her issues SOON!

T

I am glad Tia to hear that you're feeling better - those car wrecks can really run amok on ya. Bernice the TV deal sucks - sorry. And you're right, those scenes from Haiti every night are heart breaking and to think they had a 6.1 "after shock" this morning - you can only pray for everyone there and their families.
Today I am grateful for:
1:The flexibility I have at my job. Makes it easy to be available for the younger generation when they need a wise old one.
2: MY RNY and the improvements its made in my health. Sometimes it's the little things that make me stop in awe. Like the walk that nearly killed me one day at lunch pre-op, I breezed through yesterday. Or, as I've been noticing a lot lately, how much easier it is to get socks and shoes on in the morning.
3: That hot travel mug I foud hidden in the kitchen this morning. Boy a hot cup of tea on the way into work, works so much better than a bottle of Crystal light. And between it and my protein shake this morning, I'll have 3 cups of fluids down before the sun rises (Man just being able to say that is so WRONG.)
Hope you all have a great day.
I lurve tea - I had a nice big cup of berry jamboree this morning on the way to work, and I'll have some Jack Frost later...it helps to sooth a picky pouch too.
You are doing great Russel!
