Lots of WOW Moments

My husband and I went to see Avatar on Friday (if you haven't seen it, drop everything and Go NOW!).  For the first time since I can remember, I comfortably fit in the seat at the theater and I sat the ENTIRE time with my legs crossed at the knees.  I've NEVER been able to cross my legs like that, and I did it without thinking about it.  Felt great.

Next stop - flying without a seatbelt extender.  We head to Denver in May, and I hope to be close to or around 200 pounds (if not under) and I'd love to be able to take that flight without a seatbelt extender.  Plus, seeing family I haven't seen in a year is going to be so much fun.  I'm crossing my goals off one by one and it feels wonderful.

That is awesome Bernice!  I can't wait for the day I can sit in a movie, airplane or concert seat and be comfortable. WOOT!!!

Wooooo hoooooo girl I am so happy for you.  That is a great Wow moment.
You will not need a seat extender when you go see the family.  You will cry and take pics like Darla did. ((((((hugs))))))

It feels great to cross off every on the list.  You go girl!

I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.

That is AWESOME!! You go girl!! When I flew back in October. It was the first time I flew Post-op WLS and I was AMAZED at how much room I had in the seats. I was acutally VERY comfy!

Congrats on your wow moments I love hearing about those!

that is wonderful to hear. the best part is not having to squish your arms together so you don't overflow into your neighbors chair. i can just sit and enjoy the movie. i still feel pretty confined in airplanes but its alot better. good luck w/ your continued loss :)

Dont you just love it...Those little things that soo many people take for granted are what made me a blubbering mess when ever I had them...I am almost to goal and I am still having my moments...yesterday at the gym I rode the bike for 30 minutes..and I felt the bones in my butt..I cried sitting on the bike..lol..(maybe not the BEST for a WOW..lol..but it just reminded me of the rode that I had to travel) One year ago I would have never thought that I would be this far...GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!
