Jilly thank you for posting this. It is so important for EVERYONE to know this can happen!!!!!! Dealing with it myself I know it can happen. Exercise the one of the most important things you HAVT to include in your dailey routine or it all goes out the window. I'm no where near my beginning weight but I have put some pounds back on to the point of I need to get myself in gear or it all goes out the window....This gym challenge is really helping me since I need to keep a food journal and exercise journal. Thanks for posting and for being a good/ true/supportive cheerleader on this board

Great info!!

Does anyone watch Biggest Loser? I know that they don't have the same 'tool' to work with as we do, however the Doctor on there explained last season that anyone that was previously SMO needs to exercise 4 days a week MINIMUM to maintain weight-loss. That was a HUGE eye opener for me and made me realize how important exercise is!

Oh I do..............remember Eric who won a few years back and got to be so so SMALL! He went on Oprah and ET saying that the Biggest Loser just toses you to the side after the show and leaves you to be responsible for your own weight. Well he is almost as big as he was when he started the show after losing almost 215 pounds. My heart breaks for him but WE HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR OWN LIVES we cant have Doctors or trainers doing it for us. I know I am one that sometimes needs Mike or  Wes to tell me STOP EATING THAT and I get mad at first but then I realize they are right. WE ALL NEED SUPPORT but we have to do the most of this on our own!!!! So I best not fall off the Exercise train because that of all  things keeps me at my SAFE SPOT! If I ever started to gain I would increase the workouts and cut back calories or do that 5 day pouch test.

Exactly WE took charge of OUR lives when we decided to have this surgery so it is up to US to maintain it!! We have to be our own advocates for our health!

Great post honey and a good reminder for us all and especially those of us a year plus out :)

Thanks baby girl. We are all on the right path. We help each other we take feedback whether we agree with it or not and we appreciate all who try to guide us. I cant ask for a better support group and you all do keep me on track! Now off to run  the trail...........I have a party to hit later...gotta squeeze in those size 8 jeans ha ha ha

Great post Jilly, personally knowing someone that had RNY and now is morbidly obese,, this will NOT happen to me. PERIOD, EXCLAMATION POINT,
People laugh because I'm different, I laugh because they are all the same
