Actually, I brought the car home, parked it and haven't been out since.  I'm even, and I can't believe this, missing my Captain's party today.  I am still in SOOOO much pain that I couldn't fathom a drive to Bel Air.

IF, and that's a big IF, I get out this weekend, I'll let you know.

Darla, I never knew the unconditional love and healing/calming powers of a dog until I got one of my own. It's sooooo freaking special... no words.

I can't remember - what kind of car did you get?

Good morning all! I too, am glad this week is over with! It has been a long one!
Tia....congrats on the new car! Have fun  & be safe!
Cira....your family will be in my prayers! If you need to talk, I am here!

Today I am grateful for:

1} Family & friends of course..... they all seem to be there whenever I need them!

2} A daughter with some smarts! After backing out of the Navy deal, she has finally decided to reconsider it, as well as she has submitted applications to UNC Chapel Hill, and East Tennessee State University for thier medical programs!!!! She finally dumped the "boyfriend", if one would call him that, and has decided that she CAN live her dreams!

3} For all the people who are volunteering there services & support to the people of Haiti......May the erscue eforts be a success & the rebuilding process a smooth one. My prayers are with all the people of Haiti.

Have a good one!

Morning Hojo!!!  Happy Friday!!!

Thanks for your congrats on the car!!!  A year earlier than I wanted it, but I'm happy now.

Go Lizzie!!!!!  My goodness, to be that age again and have the world of possibilities that she does.  I hope she realizes that you want nothing but the best for her!!

Cira's Gino has family in Haiti and I'm just sick for him.  He's such a giving, caring man, I can't begin to imagine what he's going through.

Have a great weekend!

Hugs,

Tia

Don't have any pics yet, when I get some, I'll be sure to send them to you.

Nope, not a bit better.  Tired of it already, too.

You're entitled to a chocolate binge.  But just this once, okay?

T-4 FREAKING DAYS - OMG!! - and counting!!!!!!

Once being a chocolate bar today, tomorrow and Sunday, right? LOL

Yea, the FREAK OUT is starting.  I'm sitting here thinking OMG what am I doing?  Will I regret my decision? Will I regret more if I don't go thru with it? ACK!!!!!!!!

So sorry you haven't turned the healing corner yet. *gentle hugs*

Only ONE chocolate bar a day?  Um...okay.

YOU are doing the right thing for yourself - you must know that on some level, since you've worked your butt off to get here.  I don't think you'll regret it - not everyone has buyer's remorse, and knowing how much you've gone through and your concerns, I honestly DO think you'd regret it if you didn't go through.

That being said, there's no shame in these feelings, and some people actually have backed out at the last minute, and there's no shame in that, either.

The bottom line is, you have to do what's right for YOU, and no one else.

We love you and are here for you - you know that!!!

Hugs,

T
