Ok when I first started this journey 13 months ago I was over 315 pounds and I was so NOT into any form of exercise. So right after bypass I started on my WHEY POWDER per the Doctors request. Well it kicked butt with speeding up my weight loss. I dropped almost 140 pounds in 6 short months! It was INSANE! However my Doctors orders were to NOT TAKE PROTEIN POWDER after 7 weeks because by then they want you working out to lose the weight not "Cheating" to shed the pounds.

Well those of you on here that know me know I became a RUNNER! I was on the track or on the trail running daily and losing pretty fast! Well then came October and I hit a stall and was averaging a loss of MAYBE a pound or two a MONTH! So not cool!! It was frustrating. So over this past weekend I went back to Wal*Mart and got myself some more Whey Powder and have added it to my coffee every morning since Sunday. Today I am down get this................................ 7 pounds!!!!!!!!!! I have lost 7 pounds in less then a week which is the most weight loss since OCTOBER!!! And I have more energy because I am getting my daily protein in. This is crazy! To be in a size 8 in jeans and a medium in tops is so SURREAL to me!!! So I am gonna stick with the protein for a bit!!! And today I mixed it with peppermint paddy sugar free syrup and it taste EXTRA YUMMY!!!! (THANKS NESSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Awesome Girl!! So proud of you!

Funny how each surgeons office recommends so differently. My surgeons office actually recommends 2 protein shakes a day FOR LIFE, because of the amino acids etc. in them that we dont normally absorb as 'regular' people do :)

Thank you baby girl!!!!!!!!!!! You know I luv you girl!! And I so agree each Doc is different. My discharge sheet says NO PROTEIN SHAKES after 7 weeks because they want you to get all your protein from food at that point. SHOOT! Put me in time out then cuz I just drank two of them! he he he

Girl, I hope I am half as successful as you've been! I can't even fathom wearing a size 8. I think the last time I was a size 8 was when I was 8! You so rock!!!
