Female Question

This is definitely a female question.I'm usually regular with my menstrual cycle, however in the last 6 months I can say that its been a little off, and I have missed some months completely.  Well, the first time I tried to get WLS, just before getting approved I found out I was pregnant.

I have not been on since November. Part of me thinks it was due to the stress of the holidays, but what's up now? I've taken 2 pregnancy test, both were negative, and I don't feel pregnant, and I know how pregnancy feels coz  I've had 3 kids.  Now I feel like even if I was going to come on this month, I've stressed out so much about it, mainly because my surgery is in 2 weeks. Has this happened to anyone else? Then I read on another board that sometimes the surgery will trigger your cycle....WTH? LOL

It's probably stress. You will probably get your period at the hospital or the day before surgery.  many women do.  the staff is used to it.

Believe it or not, that was another thing I was trying to avoid and was worried about. I mean seriously, I don't want that happening while I'm at the hospital!!! LOL.
Can't even imagine what I'll be stressed about next week....I'll be stressed to the max....I'm sure.

if you post on the main board many women who have been through it can tell you of their experience.

I am sure had I not had an ablation in 2004 I would have gotten mine too.

The higher  my weight went, the more wonky mine got.  I had just finished mine a couple of days before surgery but it came back the day after surgery...wonderful...NOT!  Since then it has been as regular as clockwork.

If the pregnancy tests are negative, it's most likely stress or anxiety.  The hospital SHOULD do a pregnancy test the morning of surgery just to be sure!!

Good Luck!

Oh girl, I'm sure it's stress... I was the opposite.  I didn't have a period for a year before my surgery and wouldn't you know it... the DAY BEFORE MY SURGERY I got it.  It's just CRAZY  that's all.  Oh... and the following 2 cycles after my surgery were OUT OF CONTROL!
