3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY

Oh, Tia!  I'm so glad to hear you came out of the accident relatively unscathed.  How scary!?!  Take care of yourself.

Today I'm thankful for:

1.  a God who is always with us, even during the rough patches!

2.  my RNY -- the blessings of the surgery are still surprising to me, even after my exhaustive research done pre-surgery.  I have been able to stop taking some meds, can now fit in a booth comfortably, and I feel like a million bucks!  I still have plenty to lose, but even the amount I've already lost has made a tremendous difference in both the way I feel about myself, as well as how I feel physically.

3.  my wonderfully supportive friends and family.  I was at a homeschooling event yesterday where I saw some folks that I hadn't seen since the end of November and they were shocked at how much I've lost.  Felt pretty good to get the "Oh my gosh!" and "You look great!".

Off to do my chores.  Ugh.  But, instead of dreading them, I'll choose to be thankful I have a house to clean and clothes to wash!

Thank you so much, Kim!  I can't say my life flashed before my eyes, but it was pretty surreal.  And yes, absolutely, God was with me.  The restraints in my car did exactly their job, and today, I have the bruises and pain to prove it!!!!

I'm glad you're doing so well - keep up the good work!

Hugs,

Tia

Tia - LY Girl!  And you know it!  ((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))

1.  I'm greatful that God was looking out for Tia and she was able to walk away unharmed.

2.  Yesterday I was taken off my last blood pressure medicine, with promises of being taken off crestor and metroprolol  by the end of the year.  In the beginning, because of my heart complications, I was told I'd never get of metoprolol, but my cardiologist is so thrilled with my results he's promised to wean me off by the end of the year.

3.  Two more days until vacation.

4.  My wonderful friends - you all truly show me the meaning of support and I LY!

I too am grateful to God for EVERYTHING and especially that Tia was held in his arms yesterday to prevent her from harm!

I am thrilled to be one week down and almost 15lbs lost (on my home scale).

I am eternally grateful for all of you because of the love, support and correction (when needed).

Thank you!!!

Thank you, Kelly!  My injuries were really minimal, but it was all pretty scary nonetheless.  It could've been a lot worse!!!

15 pounds in a week is AWESOME!!! Keep up the good job!

Hugs,

Tia

Morning T!  FEEL BETTER!!!

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  That Tia, and the other people in the accident, were spared serious injury yesterday!!!  We can deal with the replacing of material things...if need be!

2.  That the snow we got out on the shore last night was minimal (maybe 1/4 inch) since this was the one day that I HAD to come into the office.

3.  That my hair is growing back.  I chopped 2-3 inches off of it yesterday and it finally looks full and healthy, even when straightened.  WOOT!!!

4.  As always, for my friends and family!!!

Have a good rest of the day all!
Heather

I wish SOMEONE, ANYONE would have called/texted/emailed me about what happened!!! I didn't find out until last night when I finally was on the computer and Jo Pelham PM'd me "Did Tia get in a car accident???" I had no clue. I went and found your FB post and saw your phone had been destroyed and I have NO idea what your home number is and I wasn't going to call you at 10pm at night, (not on a normal day and not on a day that you were in a wreck). I'm just glad that you are okay. If you need anything, just let me know!!!

Revised to VSG (6/11/09) weighing 253...
