Restaurant booths - NSV

I went up to visit my Mom today and she really loves to go out to eat when we visit.  We decided to take her to her favorite place (Seasons Pizza) so she could get a meatball sandwich, and my husband could get a gyro.  For the first time EVER, I fit into a restaurant booth - my boobs didn't lay on the table, and I had a good four or five inches between ME and the table.  I nearly cried.  For years I was unable to fit into a booth.

I ended up ordering an antipasta chopped salad and a to go box at the same time.  I immediately put 3/4 of the salad in the box and had a nice sized portion for me...Now I have a nice salad for tomorrow while we are watching the football games.

I'm thankful every single day for this opportunity I've been given.

I got chills reading this, because I remember the first time I could say, "Doesn't matter," when asked, "Booth or table?"!!!!  What an awesome experience, and I'm glad you had yours today!!

I know your journey will be filled with many more NSVs!!!!!

Hugs and love,

T

As someone who still goes into "panic mode" when I see only booths...I can really appreciate what an accomplishment this is for you. Inspiring news, Bernice. Congrats!
