Why is every commercial a food commercial. Red Lobster crab month looks oh so delicious!

Tom, I am sure that is is funny to see people leave with boxes. I have now started to try to take at least half my food home no matter what. That way I won't eat all the food at one setting. That is really great about Jilly's husbands weight loss. I hope my other family members can lose some weight since I am trying the weigh****chers program. It would make me so happy.

You know, Kelly.... this is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves!!  My FAVORITE foods before surgery were MacDonald's Filet 'O Fish sandwich, with extra tartar sauce (and not just one, but TWO of them!).  My NEXT favorite food was Burger King's Sausage and Egg Croissan'wich with lots of mayo (again, not just one, but TWO of them).  And finally, a Burger King Whopper with Cheese, or Taco Bell's Cheese Roll-ups (three of them), and Pizza Hut's stuft crust meat-lover's pizza.... were my other favorites.  I can hardly stand it when the fast food commercials come on.  I have to flip the station, or bury my nose in a book.  I feel ANGRY.  And yes, I'm mourning.  I wish I could eat what I used to eat....but it took me too long, and I've come too far to EVER go there again.  I try not too watch TV too much, and when I do, I try to either have already eaten (so that I'm full and the commercials don't affect me as much), or I take my evening snack downstairs with me (either a piece of low-fat string cheese, or a sugar-free pudding or jello, or even some chicken strips or jerkey)....so that I can put something filling and healthy (for the most part) in my mouth if I begin to feel deprived.  But, I know where you're coming from, and I feel your pain, because it's my pain, too.  I just keep telling myself - It's because of those foods that you got obese in the first place, Erica.... you don't need them anymore.  You don't WANT them anymore!!

Hugs, and this too shall pass....
Erica

I know its awful the good thing is some of the stuff I'm craving (crab, lobster and shrimp) I can have I just need it cooked in less then a vat of butter!   I do so love Big Macs and was so pissed to see they now make a Big Mac snack wrap. Wonder what the counts are on that thing?? Why couldnt they leave it big so I wouldnt be tempted? Cheaters! They probably heard I was having surgery and didn't want to lose the market share.

i had some major food mourning. it was hard but remember that if you gave in to any of it, you'll get sick plus you'll slow ur weight loss. as time goes by, especially when you see the weight come off, you'll feel it become easier.
