Welcome!  The info is VERY overwhelming!!!  It seems like a lot at first, but you quickly get used to everything you have to do daily.

Bayview was wonderful!  I had a different sugeon, but the hospital staff was great.

Good luck and keep us updated!

My Dr. told me that if I wasn't nervous, I wouldn't be normal. All I can suggest is concentrating on 1 day @ a time, 1 step @ a time. This will be a fabulous, life changing adventure it's really amazing, and you will love it!  Keep reading the posts, ask any questions, and enjoy your very special journey! All my best, Leslie

 Hi Lesley!

Im new too and also in the pre-op testing process!  Maybe we could be surgery buddies?  Im in Frederick- I know not super close, but we can at least chat online and share our journey if you like!  I had my daughter at Hopkins and loved it- they are GREAT!  The pre-op stuff can be overwhelming- just take it one day at a time, and try to accomplish one task each day.  Its good practice for post-op :)

Take care!
