Kelly - I was thinking about you before logging in and there you were with a post!  I have the same goals, but I'll be at least a month after you having surgery, so I may have to postpone my birthday until August!  (7/27)...actually I set my goal to lose 75 lb in 2010, so I'm sure hoping that is an attainable goal.  I was afraid to set my expectations too high.(or should I say low)  LOL

I'll be checking in starting Tues evening to see how you are doing.

Some people might not support my WLS decision.
Those people remind me of slinkys. Not good for much but it would would bring a smile to my face if someone pushed them down the stairs.

Ticker includes Pre-op weight loss 24 lb.

Kelly,  all achievable goals!  Just wanted to say I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday and will be anxious to hear you're doing well.

Best Wishes,

Terri

Thanks Terri. I'll be close to home at Harford and have lots of support there with my co workers so as long as nothing silly happens I'll be on the losers bench by Tuesday afternoon! If I'm not too drugged I will take my laptop and try to check in.

I think it is wonderful you have goals and I am sure they all can be reached. I hope that you will make each one. If they can't be reached you can just set new or smaller goals. That way you won't feel so bummed. Good luck in all you do.

Goals are so important!! Yours are very realistic.

I wanted to be below 275 by my birthday on 1/15. Right now I'm 277! I feel safe saying I'm going to reach that goal :) :).

Next goal is getting to a size 20, which I think may be coming sooner than I thought too. I started at a size 24 and am now in a 22. Depending on the fit, even 22's are a little loose. :) I haven't even been in a comfortable 22 for the past 12 years!

Other than that, I really need to work on my water and protein intake.

Well in looking back. I didn't make the below 200 by Easter but I made it through surgery with flying colors and (knocking on wood) I've had no complications other then letting my "eyes" decide how much food I should eat! I'm still averaging about 20lbs a month so if I stick to the plan and do what I'm supposed to then I will  hopefully lose the 100 by my birthday in July and I am so ready to go to Hershey Park in June! I am not getting in all of my liquids but I am getting my vitamins and my 3 month lab work was amazing so I am still inspired and still thrilled that I had my RNY!!!!!!
