Here we go again

Ok now with my upcoming surgery setup for Monday, I just got word that the insurance company ain't even going to look at the clinicals until Monday so I am pretty sure the surgery will be cancelled so we will just wait and see. I am so tired of these damn insurance companies that I feel like a mushroom kept in the dark and giving me alot of bull**** I am really, really sick of the bull****  Don't know what i will do if i am not approved for this I could truly get an infection from this thing being open like this.

 NO FRIIGIN WAY!!! This is not acceptable. I would just go ahead with it and have your Docs take care of the insurance part AFTER the surgery!!! You need to have this done Dusty. I hate when they act like they have all the time in the world to dilly doddle when peoples lives hang in the balance TOTAL B.S!!!!! Be on them tomorrow and drive them NUTS if you have to honey!!!!

This is ridiculus! How do they expect you NOT to get an infection at this point?!?!?!?!?!?! Ya know it is really sad that we pay for insurance to guarantee that we are healthy & have the means to keep us healthy but yet we have to deal with all this ****!?!?!?!?!
Stand your ground.....fight....go higher up in the company & force them to hear you!

Oh, hell, no!!!  You've come too far and gone through too much bs.  Get your doctor's insurance rep to hound the insurance company, too.  And start telling everyone involved that your wife has the name of a good malpractice attorney should you develop an infection.

Good grief!!! I would be soooo pissed. Do they understand that they will end up paying MORE if you end up getting infected? Not to mention what HELL they are putting you through. Insurance companies do not treat people like people. UGH. I hope they get this BS handled very quickly.

Get angry and proactive.  Call your insurancecoand Doc assistant and raise HELL. Be and sound MAD.  This is not the time to be friendly and accommadating.  This is your HEALTH AND WELL BEING.

My job is a nurse case manager, I deal with insurance companies all day long! If your doctors office wont call early tomorrow then I would hound them yourself until you get to a decision maker! After tomorrow there will not be anyone in until Monday.  The surgeon or the hospital will not (usually) do a surgery without pre approval because they will not get paid believe me it's been done by accident and it is costly for everyone.  If you don't mind me asking what insurance do you have??

Oh, and I agree with everyone is. This is ridiculous, offer to send them those pictures!  I would also see about putting something over that so it doesnt get anything inside.
