Happy New Year's Eve! Was up late, slept some, up again, and slept in today, hence the late posting.
We're going out tonight but will be out for at least 6 hours, so I will stop drinking in plenty of time to sober up - RNY style! LOL! If not, the price of our tickets tonigth, besides including open bar, open menu, and live music...also includes a free ride home. Our friends are responsible bar owners!!
Today, I'm grateful...
1. For being able to go to this NYE bash again. Missed it last year since it wasn't worth the money not being able to drink or eat and I'm sooo looking forward to it again. This may be the last year for it.
2. For my family and friends...I know, I know, I use this one a lot but I'll never stop being grateful for this!
3. Having rediscovered...or maybe just reinforced...my ability to make informed opinions despite what others may say or think...such a sense of freedom. It may mean making major changes in my life...but needed changes all the same. I refuse to surround myself with negativity.

That is very cool that your friends offer the free ride home!!! I know you have a brain, though, so I'm so not worried about you. It's the other idiots on the road! Just be careful and have a blast!!!
