3 THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY

Good morning!!!  Wow!  My vacation is slipping through my fingers!!!  That's usually the way, though.  Sigh.  I'm so glad the wind has died down, although it's still bitterly cold out there!!  Bundle up!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  The ability to go back to bed.  Ugh!  I'm exhausted - I lost count, but I'm sure I did about 10 loads of laundry at my brother's yesterday.  I swear, he must be taking in someone else's wash!!

2.  That I went through B's clothes - he's going through a growth spurt, and came up with two full bags of clothes for a friend's little boy.  I'm glad the stuff can be used, but this means that B will need a whole new wardrobe for spring and summer!  I swear, you'd have thought I asked him to cut off a body part when I asked him to try clothes on.  In fact, I think he would've preferred that!!!!

3.  Hot coffee!!!  With eggnog.  YUM!

Okay, it's back to bed for me - for a while.  After I get up, we're headed to Attman's Deli for our NYE food.  Since the weather appears dicey for tomorrow, I REALLY don't want to be in the city if that happens.

Have a great day!

Hey sweety,

 1.    Well it is up to GW Hospital for bloodwork.
 2.    Wishing I could go back to bed, but can't
 3.    Then it is thinking about what to pack for the hospital.

I can't believe I'm going through this again.

Tia, I recall you did the laundry a while back. You are such a good sister. 10 loads. I know you are beat. I have never had Attman's but hear the food is great.

Dusty, Good luck on your surgery and maybe once this is done you can stay in bed for a while. Catch up on some sleep.

Heather, Good luck with the new hair do. Yes it is way to cold and it is so nice to have a thoughtful hubby. Stay warm.

Bernice, Thank God for tea, electric blankets and friends and family. What would we do without them?

Things I am thankful for.

1) My son taking me to OC for 3 days for New Years.

2) Family & Friends who are always there no matter what.

3) Doctor said ankle is healing nicely. Hopefully no surgery needed.

Have a great day and try to stay warm.

Hi Julie,

I hope you have a wonderful time in OC,.  Wishing you a wonderful New Year!
I am glad your ankle is healing.  Leslie mentioned it to me.  I am glad you are not needing surgery.  Please try to take it easy so it can heal really good.

Stay warm too.

Cira, Happy New Year to you and your family. I hope that all is well with you guys. I hope you can stay warm it is so cold and I am sure it is cold in WV. I hope I don't need surgery. The doc said it looks good. Now my son's girlfriend fell yesterday at work and she has a ankle injury too. We are both in the boot air casts. LOL I will try to get rest. I am worried about Mom since my brother said she has a lot of congestion. I hope not pneumonia again.

                                                                                                        Hugs to you and yours,
