Reminder: 30 Day Exercise Challenge

Hi all,

The group is growing. I even have some out of staters joining. It is really great. We all want to change our habits for the better. I now have a Wii Fit so I am excited to start using it as part of my challenge. The yoga module is really cool!

For those not aware of how the challenge works, it is quite simple. for 30 days, you will exercise a minimum of 30 minutes every day. The goal is to change your habits. Now there are some that can not do that for whatever reason. That is fine, join anyway. The point is to get your butt moving regularly. Please feel free to join and post your contact info. That way others can reach out when they need help and so can you.

I am so excited for the challenge. I started the day after Christmas. I bought my daughter the Wii and the Wii Fit. And we started the day after Christmas....LOVE the hula hoop!!!! And I have been back on the treadmill....thanks for the motivation to get my butt back in gear!!!! The scale has not been moving but neither have I. So lets see if this gets the scale jump started. LOL.
YESTERDAY IS HISTORY....
TOMORROW IS A MYSTERY....
TODAY IS A GIFT!

Thanks for putting this group together....it's the motivation I need to get back on the treadmill, for sure!

Hello Nicole, Hope you had a nice holiday. I went to the doc yesterday and I will be in this boot for another month. So maybe I can come up with something where I don't have to stand to much. I really am disappointed since this would have helped me so much. I do thank you for your time and effort doing this. It is great. Happy New year.

i think it would be a good idea to do something sitting. even stretching or lifting weights w/ your arms is good. i think the whole point is to do something different than you were, adding time in for moving your body. I hope you get that boot off soon.

oh yes GREAT fun... I have a wedding (my BFF's daughter) on Saturday night... so I fly out of BWI at 7 am Friday... have all day to shop on Friday, and most of Saturday  the wedding is friday night then I have most of sunday to hang out...my plane does not leave till 8 pm their time Sunday night...

Nicole I am sooo ready to get my butt in gear!!!! I am going to go to the gym 3x's a week and then use my Wii in between. I have had one for a while but havnt played it. I dont have the wii fit but the tennis and boxing and bowling are great workout's too and fun.

So excited for 2010 to be my year of the scale moving DOWN!!!!!
