3 THINGS FOR MONDAY
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. A beautiful holiday shared with my family and friends. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they got, and as for me, I got a lot of nice gifts, including some which obviously had a lot of thought behind them - those are the best kind. Mom apparently had Dad running all over town to get me "A Christmas Story" board game!!! LOL! KB were also very appreciative of everything they got, too. Some of my favorite gifts are always what the school's Santa Secret Workshop yields - and I wasn't disappointed this year! B bought me a lovely picture frame with a beautiful saying about Aunts, and a snowman head candle!
2. I'm SO grateful, and it goes without saying that Darla is, too, that her Mom came home from the hospital on Christmas Day. THAT was truly a Christmas blessing. Here's to her continued recovery! Hugs, Mrs. P!
3. Crossing my fingers that THIS week, George will get the planets aligned for his move. Everything was supposed to happen early last week, but the snow pushed it all back. Enough's enough - I want 2010 to start with him in his new house, although no one wants it more than he!
4. I am so glad the rain washed the mucky stuff away. The snow was glorious when it was fresh, but it quickly lost its luster. And, it was really hard to maneuver in, so I'm glad it's gone.
5. Happy made a new friend!! Kathy spent Christmas Eve with us, and as usual, Happy was ferocious in her barking when Kathy first came in. After a bit, though, I noticed that Happy was on Kathy's lap, burrowed under her chin!!! LOL!!! And Happy's grateful for the gingerbread dog treats and toys, too, from Aunt Kathy!
Hope everyone has a great day!
Hugs,
Tia
1. Stealing Tia # 2 for my # 1: OMG what a great moment when we found out Mom
would be home for Christmas! I still saw most of the family - but our gift exchange
has been moved to this coming Sunday!
2. That George will get moved this week.
3. For my friends who kept in touch via texts on my hellish Christmas Eve. Especially
Tia who spread the word that Mom needed prayers. Thank God because I truly believe
thats why Mom was home Christmas Day.
So I need to run get some work done. God Bless you all!
Darla
Darla, so sad to hear about your Mom. I did not know but I am sending prayers and good thoughts to her and your family. I hope that the gift exchange will be wonderful even though being late. Prayers coming to your Mom and family. You have been so kind to pray for my Mom. Thanks and if I can help you let me know.
Julie
Our holiday was a good one, but I'm just a little glad the holidays are over now and we can "de-Christmas." I want my living room back.
1. I'm so glad Darla's mom is home! Many prayers went up on that one!
2. I'm greatful that for the first time, like, EVER, I lost weight over the holidays.
3. My family and friends. We heard from the entire Colorado contingent this year, and it was so nice. And my father-in-law made it through the holiday incident free - which was a huge step up from last year - yay!
4. Short week...off on Friday. Yay.

After a nice Christmas, I must say I am glad it is over. I am ready to "unChristmasfy" our home & start putting an order back to things. I get out of sorts when things are not organized! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!
Today I am grateful for:
1} Darla's mom coming home.....that was truely a Christmas blessing!
2} That more snow may be coming for New Years!
3} Even tho it ended very tragically, I am glad they found the little girl who was abducted in Salisbury, May she now be at peace. I am glad they have the sex offender who did this to her & may he forever sit in a prison where other men despise sex offenders! An incident like this at anytime is tragic, but to suffer a loss like this during the holidays is unthinkable......make sure you hug your children a little tighter & never forget that there are sick people in this world. Support the lawmakers who are NOW pushing to make our laws a little more iron clad for crimes like this!
I hope everyone has a great week!

No Matter How I May Change, I Will Still Be ME!!!!
Heather, Hope you had a nice holiday. I am ready to start the new year and say good bye to Christmas. I did not hear that the little girl was found. From what you say I guess it was not a good ending. I hope she is at peace. Yes there are so sick people out there and I hope he stays in prison and never gets out. I hate people who hurt children. I have no mercy for them.
Thanks aging for your wonderful Secret Santa gift. Loved it!
Julie
Tia, glad you had a nice Christmas. I am sad to hear about Darla's Mom. I had no clue. I am glad she came home for Christmas. I know I could not do much but I could have prayed and sent good thoughts. I hope she is feeling better now. Glad you got A Christmas Story game and a nice frame from B that is so nice. Hoping that all works out for you and George getting together and him getting moved.
3 Things
1) Darla's Mom being home and recovering.
2) Beautiful gifts from my kids that were not expected.
3) Staying away from carbs and sweets over the holiday.
4) New Years at Ocean City.
Have a wonderful day.
Julie
A little late in the day, but I'm here.
I hope that George is able to FINALLY move this week!
Today, I'm grateful...
1. That my sisters and I made it safely to my Mom and Dad's in VA.
2. That Darla's Mom was able to come home on Christmas day, rather than having to stay the 3-5 days originally predicted.
3. For being able to spend the holidays with family.
Happy Holidays everyone!
