I just heard that the National Weather Service changed the weather and we will NOT GET SNOW CHRISTMAS EVE OR CHRISTMAS! That sucks!!! They now say FREEZING RAIN mixed with some light snow then ALL RAIN! I would rather another foot of snow then ANY ICE! I hate dealing with ice out there. But they were so sure we were gonna get another HUGE SNOW STORM which a lot of the Northeast will this weekend but we will see ICE and RAIN! Im kinda bummed. I wanted that snowfall on Christmas Day like a big kid :o)~~ I was all EXCITED!!! Here is what is on the NWS website. I WANT MORE SNOW!!!!

Thursday Night: A chance of freezing rain and sleet, mainly after 1am. Cloudy, with a low around 27. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Christmas Day: Rain or freezing rain likely, becoming all rain after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 38. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Friday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 35. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Saturday: A chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 44. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30.

I don't want snow or ice - I want rain so it melts the stupid snow that has not yet been removed from my neighborhood!!  We got about 22" in Millersville and our neighborhood was plowed periodically on Saturday and then maybe once Sunday and once yesterday.  I couldn't get my car out to get to work yesterday, so at least I could work from home.  But man - bring on the rain so it clears the roads!!

/ending my rant

And happy holidays to you!

Im not too far from you and we got about 22 at the end of all that too and I have a feeling this whole weekend will be steady rain and it will wash that snow everywhere and flood the roads and some peoples basements lol Your car was still stuck yesterday? That sucks!! We are blessed to have a garage and the neighbors own a snow blower ha ha ;o)~

I live in a townhouse community, so once people were digging their cars out, there weren't many options to place the shoveled snow.  So unfortunately, for some people who weren't out cleaning their cars off on Sunday, some people were shoveling their cars out and piling the snow in front of other parked cars.  Pretty much a dog-eat-dog mentality which sucks for community parking for townhouses.  And then you have the classic situation where a person shovels their car out of their spot and cleans their spot nicely, they leave, and some visitor comes along and takes the nice clean spot.  So rude!

But so yeah, it sucked.  We have to drive out of our community on basically 12 inches of compacted ice and snow.  They did not come back yesterday to plow, so since I don't have an SUV, you have to be really careful on the main road heading to Old Mill Rd. as to not slip and slide all over the place.  Makes me wonder why we are paying a condo association fee if they do a crap job with the plowing.  But I know it was a bad storm and resources are strained... but come on, plow me outta that place!!!!

P.S. - I'd be willing to show my ta-ta's to some snow plow driver if that meant my street would get cleared off.  That's how annoying this crap is!

P.P.S. - anyone know a snow plow driver in AA County?  LOL.

P.P.P.S. - I'm serious.  Will show ta-ta's for a plow.

ha ha ha ha DARN RIGHT girlie!!!! And I actually do know one ;o)~ Too bad he is so old fashioned. My hubby would jump on that like a HS boy if it were him ha ha ;o)~ But its all about to get washed away here soon!!! Did you ever dig out?? A chicka on my facebook said she is so NOT shoveling out she lives alone and she will not have a heart attack shoveling snow and if her male neighbors dont do it for her they are all jerks! :o)~ lol She cracks me up!

Still not really plowed out, but at least it's starting to melt!  That's funny about your friend not shoveling out - did any of her male neighbors help?  LOL.  She should show her ta-ta's if she expects the male neighbors to shovel for free!  She needs to at least make it worth their time!
