Nicole, I am in but am noit sure if my ankle will be up to it. I am so angry. Today I had to get an air cast. This is the worst pain I have ever had. I can't do motrin or anything similar due to allergies. What a bummer.

OMG Honey, I can't believe your misfortune. I know that you must be in some serious pain, especially since you can't take any of the OTC drugs with ibuprofen, you know what that means, only the hard stuff left!! LOL  Seriously you better listen to the Dr, and stay put for a while, until you heal properly.
And Honey you need not worry, because as soon as the Dr gives you the ok, we will come calling for you, believe me we will still  be ex   challenging ! So see, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and this gives you something to look forward too!! OH my dear Leslie I am so glad you are willing to wait for me. I guess what they say once you turn 50 it is all downhill is right. BOO HOO. I am trying to listen to the Doc but dag nabbit it is the holiday. You know time for shopping, cleaning house and cooking. They all involve standing. I told my family we will be doing Hungry Man TV dinners for Xmas. LOL. Thanks for waiting and supporting me you are a girls best friend that is next to Diamonds. LOL.

ugh Julie,  I have lived in those aircasts... they are not bad once the pain subsides.

can you take Tramadol?

Nessa the new avatar look nice. No I can't take the Tramadol. I get a rash, GI symptoms and chest pains. I am screwed. How long does the flippin pain last? I am sick of it already. They want me to sleep in this contraption OMG how? 2 nights no sleep. Any other ideas? Thanks.

it didn't hurt when I wasn't walking...

Nessa, I think the boot cast is bothering me. My ankle is still swollen and bruised. I do not think none of this is helping. It hurts to walk as well.

maybe it's too tight... are your toes cold?  or blue?

No they are numb when I take the aircast off. Can the cast really be to tight? It is the 1st time with a cast. I do not know what to expect.
