Hi all,

I've decided to start a 30 day exercise challenge to get my butt into gear and I need some help. I think doing this with other people will keep me motivated. Basically the goal of the challenge is to exercise 30 minutes every day for 30 days. I know that exercise is key to my weight loss but more importantly to my mental health. I want to get the exercise going so that it will help me feel better and control my appetite. After the 30 days, I am hoping a habit will have developed so that I continue to exercise, though probably not EVERY day.

I would like a partner in crime, someone I can call or email every day as motivation. If more than one person is interested, we could have our own partners, or even have an email group going during this challenge. If you can not make a commitment to every day, you can still do the challenge. The goal is to change habits, not beat ourselves up.

Let me know if you are interested. Have a wonderful holiday. I can't wait to get to my parents house. i may go into a food coma but it will be well worth it.

That's why I meet with the trainer twice a week and do Physical therapy 2 times a week.  in hopes of building a pattern.... 

I'm game.  I just don't do 30 every day... I do 60 5 times a week... can that count?

but of course. whatever helps you create the habit. i used to have a trainer and that did help alot.

Nicole Count Me IN!!!!! I am coming to the terms that I am an emotional eater and this is a bad thing because of all the crap going on in my life right now. My grandfather is in a coma from a fall yesterday and it is not looking good! My husband got temp laid off right before Thanksgiving and then last tuesday he went to go get dinner and got into a accident with my truck so things have been crappy around here!!!! Then being snowed in all weekend was not good cause the carb monster reared it's ugly head!!!!!!!!

I am so in for this and if you get alot of people you could do a Yahoo group to keep everyone in touch and post stuff. I can not afford my trainer right now but we still do have our gym membership.

glad you are joining :) i know how it is w/ the carb monster. i lubs me some carbs. but if we exercise, the damage from our eating won't be as bad. and hopefully it will help w/ our appetites.
