Consult made with Dr. Singh
Ask questions, a lot of questions, remember,, You are hiring them to work for you. If you have a question, no matter how silly it may seem,, ASK. Make a list before you go in, you will forget something you wanted to ask. As you speak to them take notes, then ask more questions. Info is your friend. Good luck.
If for what ever reason you are not comfortable with something,, trust your gut, (no pun intended) find a different Dr. This is major surgery, but it is so worth it when you start losing weight.
Oh, don't be afraid to come here and ask questions.

Agree with Tom about trusting your "gut". I had 3 appointments - the first appt the dr. was a noshow and they never called. They apologized but I was pissed. The 2nd was with Singh - I cancelled the 3rd because my consult with Singh went weel and his office staff seemed on the ball. THAT IS IMPORTANT - the office staff. Ask questions, get his initial imperession on what he thinks will work best for you and ask more questions. DON'T OVER ANALYZE THIS WHOLE PROCESS - I see too much of that here.
Good luck!

Thanks Tom! I agree about trusting your gut. A friend of mine had a doctor operate on her and really liked him but when I met with him, I didn't get the same feeling. Dr. Singh's presentation was great...my hubby really liked him too and thought his sense of humor was wonderful. I'm looking forward to meeting him and seeing what he says.
