Oh boy - if it isn't on sale, it doesn't go home with me!

Especially now that I have to buy a new car.  Gah.  Come on mega millions.

WOOT...just today and tomorrow until two weeks of not having to worry about work (much) for the rest of the year!   Everybody should be keeping their dogs and other pets inside!  There is one house in my neighborhood that keeps it's dog outside all the time in a small penned up area that does have shelter.  I don't care if it's a hunting dog, it has very short hair and is obviously COLD!!!  UGH!

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  That I only have two more cranberry breads to bake.  I did the coconut macaroons and lemon poppyseed cookies last night - double batches of both.  I've also assembled the gift boxes with all of the treats.  I hope they love them!

2.  For being able to work from home in this cold weather.  It looks lovely, sunny, and warm but I daren't step foot out there unless I absolutely need to!!

3.  For all of the LOVELY Christmas cards...I've only gotten FIVE written out...must make this my priority today!

4.  For my friends!!!!

TTYL!

AMEN to the just one more day.  Sigh.  Double amen to irresponsible pet owners.  We've had this discussion before - not everyone is cut out to be a parent or the parent of a furbaby.  They require commitment - and should actually require written tests based on the stupidity I've seen displayed!

My baking will be finished on Saturday, but I still need to make something for teacher gifts - fudge, chocolate covered pretzels?  Can't decide!!!!

Hugs,

T

Yeah, figure I can get more gifts out of a batch of fudge than dipping all those pretzels!  Last year for teacher gifts - woo-hoo!

The kitchen will be too warm from baking cookies - can't use chocolate in a too warm room.

Good afternoon everyone - still trying to get myself into the groove here - worked last night, Dr. Singh this morning - and liquids for the next two days - ugh - I can't concentrate, but let me get this going.

1.  Taking Tia's #1 Love the chatter too!!!!
2.  Taking Tia's #3 partly - I don't have fuzzy socks, but yes, I went to bed with socks last night - my feet were fah-weez-ang!
3.  Though I figured I gained a pound or two - which might be muscle mass from working at JCP, and it showed on the scale this morning, Dr. Singh honored my request for another fill.    The amounts of food and the hunger in the last week was getting me worried.
4.  For the bandiversary wishes and comments, I am greatly appreciative.  Again, I wouldn't have done so well had it not been for yawl!

Love ya!  Stay warm!
