3 THINGS FOR THURSDAY

Ah, Friday Eve - second only to Friday as my fave day of the week!!!  It is SOOOOOO cold out there, check your kids and mailmen for frozen body parts today!!  Surprisingly enough, my brother LOVES this weather!  First of all, he said it keeps most of the dogs inside and he HATES to sweat!  So be careful in the cold today!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  My email friends - I just love the constant CHATTER!  It just makes my day.  Even when I'm gone for a while and come back to 99+ emails!!!!  LOL!!!

2.  My Captain - I hate that he's retiring, although he may come back in a different capacity.  He's been one constant in the turmoil that's been my work life for the last couple of years.  Truly, this man has kept me from grabbing a rifle and heading to the roof on more than one occasion!  We're taking him to lunch today to celebrate his career and having a huge party for him in January.  I also consider him a friend, too, which is a blessing.

3.  Warm, fuzzy socks - I have a plethora of them!  Pre-op, I NEVER would've slept with socks on.  Now, my feet are like ice!!  Guess someone should warn George, huh?  LOL!!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey, at least we don't have to work out in it - we'd never survive!

Wow, that you could find ANYTHING for your Dad's a miracle, given that he's got everything!  I'm impressed!

Hugs,

T

I bought him one big thing a clock radio that shines the time and outdoor temp on the
ceiling .It also has 20 soothing sounds LOL  I must explain hes become obsessed
with the weather forecast.  I also got him a 2 pack of flashlights ( for his nightly walks
with Cuddles) and a temp. gauge to hang by the front door.  I figure Mom will talk
me into letting her give Dad something from the above list.

I bought Mom a blouse, and a couple Reed Diffusers ( her obsession is the
the house smells ).  I also found her a bottle of perfume on ebay that has
been discontinued .  She loved it and hated having to pick a new one -
which of course got discontinued as well.  I am feeling really good about their gifts this year!

Um, you DID get me the "Get Out of Jail Free" card for the fat lip I'm itching to deliver, RIGHT????

Today I'm greatful for:

1.  As usual, my wonderful friends and family - so far, I've already received $200 in gift cards to buy new clothes as my sizes shrink.  Yay.

2.  Hot coffee - I was FREEZING this morning....still am...until I had my protein mocha.

3.  Tia introducing me to greek yogurt...thank you girl...it's been my breakfast this week mixed with frozen mashed strawberries...ohhh emmmmm  geeeee that's good!

*snicker*  Lots of chatter yesterday, hmmmm?

Oh, that is awesome on the gift cards!!!  They obviously love you a lot, just like we do!  But - word - don't buy a lot at once, because you won't be able to wear any of it for long.

I know - I would SOOOOOOOOOOOOO be lost without my Greek yogurt!!!!  Glad you like it!!

Hugs,

T

LOL - that's why I asked for Gift Cards - so I could buy a few things as I needed them, and then replace them later with smaller sizes.  I had to explain that to Bob - he wanted to give me cash so I could buy what I needed, and I told him that if he gave me cash, I'd end up using it f******oney/groceries/bills/etc.  Now I'm set to keep up with the coming year...and apparently I'm going to need a new pair of black pants soon, because these are getting kind of breezy.

And that greek yogurt is yummy...yummy yummy yummy.

Just think SALES RACKS or Goodwill...or hand me downs!!  I have a thing for used clothing unless it's from family members...yes, I'm strange...but the sales racks became my friend!!!  Save the majority of that money for when you get to a stopping point because you WILL NOT be in one size for long!!
