3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY

Tia, I did notice the same thing with lights. I noticed Homestead Gardens who usually have their lights done after Thanksgiving are not even turned on yet. This is so sad. I love Xmas lights.  I can remember when we were young we would pile in my Dads station wagon and just go looking at Xmas lights. Maybe next year the economy we be better and people will do more decorating.

We still do that, Julie - we live in a rowhome community, so there's always something to look at.  I think, in our neighborhood, anyway, it's the fact that a lot of our neighbors are elderly and yes, the economy.  2009 has not been kind to a lot of people - I have hopes for 2010, though.

Good Morning All

Today I am thankful for

1.  Moms Doc giving her an antidepressent  yesterday.  With my Uncle passing away
2 weeks ago Mom has been shakey at best.

2.  Pilates class last night :  I just love i****er classes tonight unless I decide
to be a good Aunt and go to Jessicas Xmas concert.

3.  My determination to stop putting things off:  I'm going to be on the phone today
making some long overdue Drs appts.

Have a good day everyone!

Darla, hope your Mom feels better soon. Hope you have fun at the gym you have done so well with going. I think we all put off Drs appointments. Glad to see you will be making the appoinments. I will be busy with Mom this week so will it be OK to meet next week or after Xmas? I don't want to hold you up or put any extra burden on you.

No problem Julie  Just let me know when it is good for you.  I have two bags in the
car:   They won't be in my way.

I pray things go well with your Mom and thanks for the good wishes for my Mom.

Good morning!  I'm FINALLY getting around to sneaking on the board for a minute...HOLY BUSY BATMAN!

I'm keeping you and your Dad in my prayers today!

1.  I finally made some jewelry sales the past couple of days, so things are looking up a bit...need that money to help payoff my ginormous tuition bill for next semester...ah grad school...nothing better to bleed you dry.

2.  Dinner will be ready and waiting for me when I get home tonight - venison stew is in the crockpot crockpotting.

3.  My great friends who had me LOL at my desk this morning...I'm afraid my co-workers may be breaking out the padded cell again..LOL

Have a good one!

Morning T!  Yes, yes it is still Monday.  My goal for today is to get my Christmas cards done and in the mail, as well as some Christmas packages and some cookies made.  Oh yeah, I should probably do some work too since I don't officially start vacay until next week!  I am on a telecon right now, so technically I'm working, right?

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  For wonderful friends who keep me laughing and on the straight and narrow when I need it!  Love them!
2.  (stealing Tia's number 2) - that yesterday was a productive cooking day.  Did a pork roast in the crockpot and then made pulled pork bbq...YUMMMM.  I also did a shrimp and quinoa casserole, more cranberry bread and some no pudge brownies.  One more type of cookie - lemon poppyseed - to be done today and a few more cranberry breads and I should be done and will start to assemble packages.
3.  For narcotics...yeah, I said it...my back was just aching yesterday and some lortab definitely helped and allowed me to keep cooking!

That is all...have a good rest of the day.
Heather
