3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY

Good morning!!!  I have a busy day ahead of me - getting ready to pop a crustless broccoli quiche into the oven for my brother, then hop in the shower, go to the doctor's with Dad, come home and pick Mom up and do some shopping and then B has a holiday concert tonight at school.  I'll need to go back to work just to rest!  LOL!!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1. That I'm off again today! I'm very lucky to have all the time off that I do - makes up for the non-great salary!  As a State employee, the benefits definitely outweigh the salary!

2.  That yesterday was a productive cooking day - I made Italian hamburgers, baked chicken, impossible cheeseburger pie, two batches of cookies and prepped some stuff for today. 

3.  For my Happy - She, of course, has been my shadow while I've been cooking, but she's kind of learned to sit in the doorway so she doesn't get stepped on!  It makes me smile to turn around and see her sitting there with that, "Is that for ME?!" plaintive look on her face!!!  LOL!!

Wow, You have been busy. I am hoping and will be praying that your Dad will get good news today. I hate the waiting ! As for Happy do you get the poor me hungry look? My dogs love the kitchen. Have a great day and prayers are coming to you.

3 Things

1) Loving Wawa coffee. So darn good.

2) Son's eye doc appointment. He has been to 3 doc's and has been told he has Glaucoma but the doc yesterday said he see nothing that looks like Glaucoma.

3 )Beautiful Christmas lights and the nice cards I have received from OH members Thanks to all who sent cards.

That is GREAT news about your son!!  Of course, I know you'll stay on top of that. 

Actually, I get the "Hey!  I'm sitting here!  Hellloooooo?" BARK.  It's just one loud, sharp bark - as a reminder!!  LOL!!!

I was standing out on the front porch last night, trying to get some cool air - the house was too warm from all the baking - and I was enjoying the Christmas lights.  Our neighborhood used to be STRUNG with lights everywhere, but people aren't into that as much anymore, which is sad.

Morning everyone!

1.  Taking Tia's #1, I'm off today also - taking a friend of mine to DE for her birthday which was this past Sunday.

2.  I am scheduled to work 54 hours between this week and next week at JCPenneys - I sense some late Xmas gifts and some credit card payments to be made.........

3.  The fact that I'm having a great time working at JCPenneys - who woulda thunk? 

4.  My scale is creeping up.....but I've already been scheduled to see Dr. Singh this Thursday. 

5.  I got a B for my final grade for International Business - I was really worried about that final.....and actually did better than I thought!    Other grades will post eventually this week, and I'm sure I have both of them as B's or better.

Sweetener!!!  I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of you - with all that you have going on, to have earned a B is awesome!!!  You just rock!!

My serious goal after the new year is to knuckle down and pay off some of these bills!!  Sheesh!!!

So will you get a fill on Thursday?  Sounds like the timing is good, right before Christmas.

Candy, How nice to take your friend to Lower slower DE. Drive safe and have fun. You are such an inspiration to many. Congrats on the great grade. You should be so HAPPY. Glad you are having fun at JCP. That is a big part of the job battle. If you like your job the time goes by fast and just think a paycheck too. Hope your scale stops creeping up.
