At long last - tomorrow's the day

Well I know I've been AWOL for a while but wanted to drop in and let everyone know that tomorrow's finally the day I begin my new life.  I've been all over the place emotionally this weekend but from what I've learned here that's pretty much par for the course.  I am waiting on a call today for a time but I am told that more than likely I'll be the first case up.  I just wanted to let you all know because you've been a great support to me as well as providing me with great information. Please, say a prayer, swing a chicken, do whatever you do to send good thoughts and I'll be joining you all soon on the Loser's Bench

I was wondering where you'd run off to, Russ!  I'm glad everything's still on track for tomorrow.  And yes, it's completely normal to be emotional - it's like a roller-coaster!!!

Can your wife call someone to let us know, or would you rather wait until you got home and let us know yourself?  It's up to you! 

You're never alone, we'll be with you!

JH Bayveiw is a great place for surgery recovery.  Each room on the 6th floor is private, large and comfortable.  Best of luck to you!  Pam

Russel, I had wondered where you went. Glad to see that your day is here. We will be praying and swinging chickens too. I wish you a uneventful surgery and a quick and speedy recovery.
