3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY!
Good morning! Thank goodness it wasn't nearly as frigid this a.m.! Today, I'm grateful for:
1. That I haven't yet caught the cold that seems to be making its way through my family. Ugh! Stay AWAY!
2. That I came home yesterday to the tree lit - Mom and I will decorate it tonight and tomorrow night. We have tons of ornaments, so it takes a while. Then we'll do the Christmas village under the tree so that it can be attacked by Hapzilla!
3. That I've managed to stay caught up at work. Fortunately, they don't like to hold hearings near the holidays so that no one gets terminated, and that's allowed me to stay on top of things.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Hugs,
Tia
1. It is the time of the year to be reflectful on the gifts that we all have. The non-material ones, such as the friends we have, are worth way more than the pretty wrapped presents. Now I don't mind getting a few of those wrapped presents, SNICKER!, but it's the gift of continuing friendship and support that really matters during these holidays. Therefore, I'm thankful for the friends I have through here.
2. Amy and Megan pulled a Baltimore Colts Mayflower on us yesterday. It feels weird, but then it doesn't feel so stressful. And we're still friends so that's important too.
3. Tonight is my exam for Int'l Business, and since the Ravens game was too chaotic in the 1st quarter, I just left the room and read my textbook. I feel a bit more confident that I may pass the test - it was daunting enough as it is that it covers 7 chapters - several of them are almost Webster's Unabridged Dictionary length, it seems!
4. Work has been slow enough for me to prepare for the last few weeks of the semester - and now, I have 4 projects at work coming up - but I can delay them a day - so I can keep my nose buried in the textbook - and not only that, I'm grateful that I still have my job.
Candy - good luck on your exam!!!
Darla - I can't wait to see your hair cut! I love me some low maintenance hair!
Tia - enjoy decorating that tree, and stay away from that cold!
Here's mine -
1. Family and friends
2. Packages in the mail...I still get excited when I see packages
3. New babies! My friend Beth had a baby right around Thanksgiving and she just sent pictures...and OMG what a cutie pie!!

Today, I'm grateful...
1. For my sister calling and waking me up this morning. I closed my eyes for "just a few minutes" after Mike left and she called me an hour and 20 minutes later. UGH...hate it when I do that!
2. That I finally got my bills paid for the month and was able to do some online shopping last night. Got about 2/3 of my gifts purchased. Of course, then I find out that my sister had already bought three of the same gifts for the same people, hence the phone call...oh well, more shopping!
3. For family and friends...'nuf said!
Have a good day all,
Heather
Funny, I'm colder this year than last, too.
I never close my eyes "for just a few minutes" for exactly that reason!!! I'd wake up two days later!!! LOL!!
At least you didn't have the online fiasco that Mo did!! Sheesh!! There's something to be said for getting up early and hitting the stores before everyone else!
MUAH!
