3 THINGS FOR FRIDAY!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. I'm off. Although it's a furlough day (unpaid), at least it's on MY schedule. Thanks, Gov'ner!!
2. George's new house is reaaaaallllly nice. I love it. He loves it less, but since I live in a townhouse, anything's a step up!!! But it's essentially in move in condition, there's very little he actually HAS to do, but lots he WANTS to do. We picked apart the house room by room, trying to figure out what he wants, and I think we agree on the color palette, so I'm off to Home Depot this weekend while he's away for work. It says a lot to me that he took me to see it and wants my help. That makes me happy.
3. The friends that I've made here on this board who've become my IRL friends/sisters. We were talking about that last night, and I told him how lucky I am to have such a close knit group of "losers!" He chuckled at that, and I told him to get used to it, because that's what I call them!!! LOL!!! I do love you guys!!! And I love that I can share everything with you! That's what makes life worth living.
4. I'm dragging Darla, kicking and screaming, to my hairstylist tomorrow. Her hair always looks nice, but it's time for a CHANGE!!!!! I know she's nervous, but she's in great hands with my guy. And Kathy's going, too, so I get a twofer!!!!
Hope everyone has a great day and weekend. I'm going back to bed for a bit, then I have a date with a Swiffer and the kitchen floor and I have to run some errands. After we get done tomorrow, I think I'm going to bake some cookies and then on Sunday, my aunt is hosting a Christmas tea that I usually cook for. So a busy weekend!!!
Hugs,
Tia
Good Morning All:
Well since I took off yesterday I have to make this short.
1. That I have coworkers who jumped in and got what had to be done: DONE - so
now I just have 2 days of filing papers to work on.
2. who me nervous ? LOL just because I have been going to the same hairdresser for 20+ years and I am letting someone else touch my hair: why should I be nervous?????
Seriously I want a change and I have faith that Tia , Kathy and John will keep me in the chair long enough for John to work his magic.
3. Have an unexpected family event tomorrow afternoon ( can not say why yet but I'll fill you all in Monday LOL) and then my Pilates coach's annual christmas open house tomorrow night! Get to see people in " real" life clothes rather then exercise gear. Had a blast
last year - stayed till after 1:00 am.
4. As always my friends
Have a great weekend everyone!
I'm so excited about your family event. I wanna live vicariously!!!
Um.....since you ARE over 21 yoa, maybe you could remind your Dad that you were out late last year, and that you probably will be again? That way he doesn't have dogs and helicopters looking for you!!!!
See you TOMORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROW!!!
LY,
T
LOL yes i wlll remind them : Last year as I was standing in Stacia's kitchen with Deb and a few
other ladies helping put the food away my cell rang - it was MOM looking for me - later
she told me dad had fallen asleep around 9:00 and when he woke up after midnight and I wasn't home woke her up and they started worrying together: granted I had told them
I was only going to stay an hour or two and left at 7:00 pm LOL . and it was snowing!
Gotta love them or I would strangle them sometimes
And Darla, you're gonna be so sexy girl!!! No need to panic...don't want to see you doing this.... Rock that new do! Speaking of...I think I'm going to let mine grow out again...but definitely need it colored....I'm too young and beautiful to be this grey!
Here are mine:
1. My friends...I've had a rough week and they've truly bolstered me!
2. That it is finally Friday ....whoooo boy it has been a long friggin week.
3. Size 24 jeans and collar bones baby! The scale ain't moving, but the NSVs are coming fast and furious. I'm sure my body's gearing up for a big old loss. I'm just hoping it's before next Tuesday when I have my one month follow up!
4. It's Christmas...yay! Christmas movies, egg nog flavored tea, and putting up the Christmas tree with my hot hubby tomorrow...gonna spend the day with the dog, the tree and a pot of 15 bean soup...err...I guess that last part might not be too romantic...noisy yes...romantic, no.
