Ok, my sister (DaBudsInMD/Kim C.) gave me this recipe but I just had to share.

1 scoop About Time Choco Whey Isolate Mix (get samples at tryabouttime.com)
1t. sugar free/fat free Chocolate Fudge Pudding mix
8 oz. Calorie Countdown milk
1/4 c. non-fat dry milk

Use an immersion blender (or whatever you have) and blend the Calorie Countdown and non-fat dry milk (loaded milk which adds 90 calories but 8 g protein).

Heat in the microwave until temp is right for you.

Add the choco mix and pudding mix and quickly blend with the immersion blender.

This is absolutely the BEST hot chocolate I have ever had.   Will really warm you up on a cold night!  (P.S. They say snow is coming Saturday!!!)

Stats:
Protein = 40 g (24 from AT Choco, 8 from Calorie Countdown, 8 from non-fat dry milk)
Calories = 246 (101 from AT Choco, 10 from sf/ff pudding mix, 45 from Calorie Countdown, 90 from non-fat dry milk)

Hey Kris,

Thanks for sharing the recipe.  I never used an immersion blender before.  Does that do ice too, or just mix things up?  Does it make your protein powder frothy??  Just wondering.  I use a Magic Bullet and love it, but my protein gets very frothy....maybe it's the protein powder itself.  I remember you and Kim talking about the immersion blender at Nessa's Pouch Party.  What's the brand name you use?

How are you feeling??

Have a great Friday!

Debbie

I use a Cuisinart (got off of Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EGA6QI/ref=ox_ya_oh_product) and love it.  It works GREAT on ice; it crushes it finer than a Slurpee (more like a milkshake).  Yes, there is some froth, but it can be kept low by blending for a short period of time.

Feeling great!  Lost 17 pounds since sugery (15 days ago).
