OKay, boy am I tired. I arrived at the hospital at 5:45am, on Monday only to find out my surgery got changed from 7:45am to 8:30am ( I was peeved, but said okay), they started me on the anthestia and lights out.... I woke up to intense pain and they told me to press this pain pump that was not helping in the time I needed it to, so they gave me some other pain reliever in my IV pump and I was off to LA LA land. It was the most difficult thing I have ever went through and mind you I had a C-section, 1 crushed left femur from a car accident and a fractured metcarpal.

I think the worst thing I felt was that darn JP drain being coiled out of me..BOY one can not describe that feeling. After all that...... I'd make this choice to do it again if I had to. I'm still in some pain that's being managed by Diloted {which gives me a headache after waking up from it), so I might just go to Tylenol. Which Tylenol is best to use right now? I'm 4 days out.

I'm looking forward to when the pain stops and my new life can begin. Thanks for everyone support and Tia you're the best for talking to my husband. He enjoyed speaking with you very much and too thought you were one of the sweetest persons he has ever spoken to.

Whooo Hooo Gina! Welcome to the Loser's Bench!  I'm so glad everything went well for you.

My doctor was able to write me a prescription for liquid tylenol with codiene in it...if the codiene bothers you, I've heard the fast release works well...I couldn't swallow any large pills at first though.  You might also try to find a liquid tylenol that's over the counter.  And a cough pillow will be essential to making you feel better.

I bet your are glad to be home with your baby!

Hi sweetie!!!!

I'm so glad to see you home!!!  I'm sorry you had a rough time, but hopefully, all that will soon be a memory.

Assuming you can swallow pills, as B said, Tylenol makes a rapid release formula, and there's also a liquid Tylenol.

I told Todd to tell you to walk, sip and rest - and that the walking would REALLY help with the gas.

Give yourself time, don't expect too much and try to be as compliant with your doctor's orders as possible.  If you need ANYTHING, please call me.

Thanks for being my angelette!!!!!

Hugs,

Tia
