Anyone eat tofu?
My sudden aversion to meat has me looking for other good protein sources, so I bought some tofu, but I have no idea what to with it! I've looked online for recipes, but most are for Asian-style sweet dishes that don't seem WLS friendly. Does anyone have any idea how to use it in a pouch friendly way?
The only way I've had it is in Chinese Hot & Sour soup - and I love it that way.

I have only used Tofu in a dip recipe that I have.....it is VERY easy to make.....but since I just opened my eyes, I couldnt tell you how to make it......give me a lil bit to wake up & I will post it for you!

I've had Tofu in Miso soup and Hot & Sour soup and love it in both. It seems to adopt the flavor of whatever you cook it in. I understand it's best to buy the 'extra firm' variety.
I can picture it would be good cooked with something as simple as chicken stock with maybe a tad of onion or other veggie.
