Anti-depressants could raise insulin levels :(

I remember being told that the paxil i was on could make me gain weight but i didn't understand why. now it is clear, it raises insulin levels. I've been taking it and many other ssri's for years. now i wonder if it has been hurting me more than helping me since i have insulin resistance. I will have to discuss this more w/ my psych doc to see what she thinks. just wanted you to know as well.

Interesting article.  Weight gain makes sense if it raises insulin levels.  Thanks for sharing the information.
