I love the Grinch, and I especially love Charlie Brown's Christmas special, but has anyone ever seen the Little Match Girl? I absolutely love that one, and my husband thinks I made it up.....lol. I know I didn't make it up, its a real show! lol

Absolutely!!!  I remember it.  It wasn't animated, more like the Rudolph characters.  I used to love the book, too.

I've been trying to find that one....I called them Clay-mations, whatever.....but yeah, it wasn't animated. I remember thinking as a child that was the saddest Christmas story I'd ever heard....I love it. I want it for my children, but its almost like it never existed! I can't find it anywhere.

You're right, I think that was the earliest form of Claymation.  I Googled it for you, came up with a lot of info.  Give that a try.
