3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!!
1. Have to steal Darla's number 1, YEAH RAVENS!!
2. Shopping Black Friday, went to the outlets with my mom, cousin, and aunt. We shopped from midnight and got home at 9:30, took a 3 hour nap and went shopping again. The best part was I was done Christmas shopping, so I bought myself some things.
3. Christmas decorations. I took Reed out last night to look at Christmas lights, people are on the ball early this year.
Have a great day!
Hi Traci!
Love the new avie!!!! Reed's adorable!!!
Nothing like buying presents for yourself - you get exactly what you wished for!!!! Midnight to 9:30? Okay, you win!!!! LOL!!!
I think a lot of people took advantage of the milder weather to get their stuff up earlier this year.
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Tia
Today, I'm greatful that...
1. Bob bagged a deer! A big'un! Venison for the winter....yay! And he's coming home today! Yay again.
2. Thanks to Cyber Monday, I got all my Christmas shopping done and didn't have to set foot in a store!
3. I don't feel like crap anymore...yesterday was a bad tummy day. Today is much better.
4. Da Iggles beat the Pigskins! I bleed green!

Hey honey! I have to tell you - I just LOVE your FB avie!!! It puts a smile on my face everytime I see it!!!
Ugh! Sorry you have to go back to work so soon - would've been nice to make it last until after the holidays!!
Since venison is a lean meat, I wonder if you'll have issues with it like some of us do with protein dense meats? Just remember, lube is your friend!!!
Sorry you had a bad tummy day! I was just telling Pam the other day that I still have them periodically, but fortunately, the further post-op you are, the less likely you'll have an off day.
Hugs,
Tia
I always cook my venison in the crock pot until it simply falls apart...I don't plan on trying it until later (after I'm on solid foods, which hopefully will be in another week). I did a beef stew in the crock pot and then put my portion in the food processor and it went down ok, so I'm thinking the venison may do the same thing, but we'll wait and see. So far, nothing has come back up on me, although I got a piece of chicken breast (by accident) that was rough going down. Too dry.
I don't know what was going on yesterday. I just wasn't in the mood for anything and nothing felt like it sat right. I just realized its nearly 11 and I haven't had any breakfast yet (protien shake in, and fluids in, but no breakfast). I will try something here soon.
And yes, I would have loved to have been off until after the holidays, but I think my poor boss would have had a stroke. Another woman in our department is going out on disability tomorrow, so I didn't have the heart to take anymore time off - there are only three of us in the department - I think my poor boss would have jumped off the building if two of the three were out at the same time. Plus, no one knows how to do my job so I better go back, or I'll have twice as much to do next month.
And I love that hat in my FB picture! LOL. I made it for Bob, but its so cute, I steal it when he's not looking!

1. The Ravens won - and I'll have to admit, Dixon has me worried - no, not the Mayor - the QB for the Squealers - he was actually holding his own.
2. Had a nice weekend short of a few fiascos, but the top ranking thing for my weekend was seeing Mom. I hadn't seen in her a long time - March to be exact. We had a great time just giggling like little girls, and cooking like real women in the kitchen.
3. Long weekend - and back to the rat race starting tonight at JC Penneys. Not sure if I'll be working after Orientation, but at least the orientation is scheduled for this afternoon.
4. I received a certificate in the mail declaring me officially certifiable, and was shocked at how soon it came!
Have a great afternoon everyone!
