Well we went to Boston Tuesday, left about 3:30 (after work and school,) it took  3 1/2 hrs to get out of MD,  because of rain, and all other bs, including 95 closed to one lane in CT for construction, we got to Boston about 1:30am. Should have taken 6.5 hrs or so. We left Saturday about 2:30 to try to beat some of the traffic. Hit a 10 mile backup on the Mass pike, hit traffic on 84 and 91 in CT, again on 95 in CT, so dialed up NY traffic on Sirius, and got word of a truck accident on the NJ Turnpike, at exit 5, (close to Philly) NJ turnpike was CLOSED.  This accident happened about 1 in the afternoon, when we finally got to the turnpike around7pm the news hadn't changed, I made a decision to take the truck lanes of the turnpike, that allowed me to pass about 5 miles of stopped traffic, but still got into a 20 flipping mile backup. I got off at exit 8 and bypassed some of it, but still it took us about 11 hrs to get home. according to the GPS average speed of the trip was 30 mph!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, the weather was crappy, both drives were HORRIBLE, but it was good to see grandma and the cousins. We are making plans for a Disney trip next year, we have NEVER been together as a family, (I'm here, one sister and family is in Chicago, Mom and the other sister and family are in Boston) so hopefully we can get everyone in one place next year. Jessika was about 2 when we went to Chicago for easter, and doesn't remember her cousins there. It seems WE are the only family who can travel to visit.

On the upside,, 232.6 lbs

Sorry the traffic was so rough. I usually drive to Indiana, but decided to fly this year. I was pleasantly surprised as to how smooth it was. Glad you had a good holiday once you got there. And congrats on your continued success with the scale!
