3 THINGS FOR BLACK FRIDAY!

Good morning!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful, blessing filled Thanksgiving!  And didn't overdo it on the goodies!!!  I probably did, but today's a new day!

Today, I'm thankful for:

1.  My family and friends.  Kathy joined us for dinner yesterday; we ate dinner, ate dessert and played several rounds of Christmas Trivial Pursuit.  Anyone EVER heard of the movie, "Going My Way"?  I swear, this movie came up so many times in different questions, I'm going to have to Google it.  Kathy even survived my crazy family!!! 

2.  That I'm up early today (thanks, George), and while I would LOVE to go back to bed, I'm up and I have lots to do, so....no sleeping in for me.  Mom is going to help decorate church for Advent, so while she's gone, I can throw away stuff that she'll never miss.  (Gleefully rubbing my hands together!)

3.  That I'll see some friends tomorrow for the Festival of Trees. I've never been, but I love Christmas decorations, so this should be fun!

Good morning T!  I am glad to hear you had a great Thanksgiving!  I'm heading up to my Mom's today, but we're just going to hit the Farmer's Market - Shopping is NOT in the plan.

Today I'm greatful for:

1.  My nephew drove up from Florida to surprise everyone for the holiday!  I'm so excited!  The little stinker said he wasn't going to be able to make it home until Christmas.  Mom and I are driving to Elkton to see him today before he has to go home tomorrow.  My handsome boy! 

2.  Another nephew of mine has found his soulmate and they are going to be married today.  I wish we could have gone out for the wedding, but tickets to Colorado Thanksgiving weekend cost short of an arm and a leg.  Best wishes Michael and Beth!

3.  I got a tiny taste of everything I wanted yesterday and I was totally satisfied.  Of coures, I've packed up all the leftovers to send with Bob on his hunting trip this weekend....bye bye tempting stuffing!

4.  Bob's going hunting this weekend!  The whole house to myself!  Until Monday!  And hopefully he'll get a deer so we can stock the freezer with yummy low fat high protien venison!  (I know some of you are icked out but if it is butchered right its delicious and very very low in fat!)

Awwww, sounds like you had a wonderful holiday, B!!  I'm so glad.  Oh, a Thanksgiving weekend wedding - sounds sweet!!

I'm SOOOOOOOO glad you didn't stress out over the holiday!  You're going to be a phenomenal success!!!  And don't worry, everyone DOESN'T get "buyer's remorse."  I certainly didn't - I didn't really mourn the loss of anything - except some clothes maybe!!!  You have such a great attitude!!!

Oh, I'd love to go tomorrow, but my girlfriend is coming over for an all day craft/crop day!  Her boyfriend is hunting with Bob so we've been planning this girly thing for a week or so now, and I'm so excited!  I'm starting a WLS scrapbook for myself!

Today was great - I got to see all of my sisters' kids for the first time in I don't know how long!!!  I wish we could have made it out to Colorado for Michael's wedding today, but it's just a bad travel time!

Today I am grateful  for

1.  Stealing Tia's LOL Family and friends :  My brother is taking my parents to the
Ocean to see the light festival so I get the house to myself until Sunday

2.  Christmas music

3.  I did get to see my great nieces yesterday for a little bit.  My nephew is going thru a
divorce and its a difficult time for everyone.  I wish I could wave a magic wand and take the pain away but that is not how the real world is:  I pray they all find peace.

Hey DP!!! 

WOO-HOO!!!!  No parents!!!!  I know you love them, but sometimes, the quiet is good!!!

Did your nephew get to see his children?  Ugh.  Divorce can be so ugly, especially when children are involved.  Hugs to them.

He picked them up around 6:00 pm  and he had to go into work at 10:00 pm
but he will get to spend time with them today when he gets home around 9;00 am

His soon to be X is Black Friday Shopping. 

Happy Black Friday...you won't catch me out and about today...NO THANKS!  I was very good yesterday, I had about a tablespoon of everything, although I had a tiny sliver of both pumpkin and apple pie, with whippage of course!  Mmmmm...

I'm glad Kathy got to spend the day with you guys...I was wondering how she was celebrating!

Today, I'm thankful...

1.  For being able to spend some time yesterday with part of my family.  I don't think my Dad  has talked so much!  Usually my Mom doesn't allow a word in edgewise...LOL!  She's still in CA with my sister.

2.  AGAIN, that my sister ended up having the baby in a hospital.  My nephew has jaundice and has been in the hospital getting light therapy since he was born. 

3.  For my friends.  I can't say enough how happy and thankful I am that this board and WLS have brought us all together!!!  Love you all!!!

Sounds like you did good!!  I did less good, but like I said, today's a new day.

Hope so too!  Guess I need to go see the doc...but now it will have to wait until after next week...UGH!
