3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY
Girl I was thinking the same thing this morning. I felt like I was in Forks too. It has been dreary, dark and rainy for too long.
Glad you had a great day with B and laundry yesterday. Say hi to George for me and tell him I am watching him like in the movie meet thr Fockers and so far he is still in the circle and he better keep it that way. lol
Yesterday I spent a quiet day, meditating, readind and just with 3 kids at home. So it was good and something I needed in a long time.
Today I am grateful;
1. My friends who love me and care about me unconditionally. You know who you are.
2. For my RNY... I am so glad that I did this for me. I was thinking yesterday that 2 1/2 years ago I could have never had all the energy I have these days.
3.For the memories that I have of my sweet Mother on these special holidays. I miss her so much.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Hugs,
Cira

I've said this before, but I know your Mom is smiling down on you with pride at the wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend that you are! And you know MY Mom has enough love in her heart for you!!!
Hugs to all!!

She said I could've waited until Christmas, but she works so hard to make sure our holidays are nice, I thought she deserved it now!
Good morning! You may feel free to come and put a dent in my laundry pile anytime! All Hail the Laundry Queen!
And this weather...yuck. Bob got up and asked if we were going for our walk today and I looked at him like he had three heads. He said, "But the doctor said you had to walk!" At which point I told him, "Walk yes...pneumonia from walking, no."
On that note, I'm greatful for:
1. An exercise backup plan...my gazelle (go Tony Little!) is set up in the basement and I cranked out 30 minutes on it this morning...I also got in 15 minutes of upper body work out...I'm terrified I'm gonna end up with bat wings.
2. Flannel...I'm living in my flannel pajama bottoms while I'm off. Brrr....sooo freaking cold.
3. I'm meeting with my primary care tomorrow to see if i can officially go "off" some of my meds. My last blood pressure check was 118/76. I'm hoping to finally ditch the Norvasc and the last of my diabetes meds.
Tia I am so excited for you and George. He sounds like a great guy! I love that schmoopy phase of a new relationship. I love schmoopy!

Tell Bob to take you to Christiana or Harford Mall and walk! I had my surgery in the dead of summer and it was too dang hot to walk outside, so Mom and I did the local malls every day.
Soon, you'll be lithe as a gazelle!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!! (Said in my best Tony Little voice).
Ummmm....no flannel pj's on flannel sheets - human velcro!!
Keep us posted on the appt.!!!
Yes, I am very, very lucky to have met George!! And he's a lucky guy, too! Took me a long time to realize how much I have to offer someone, but I know it now! Yeah, schmoopy is right. I have this STOOOOPID grin on my face ALL the time!!!
Hugs,
T
