Good morning!!!  Why didn't someone tell me we moved to Forks????!!  Seriously, all this rain!!  Enough already!!  I'm actually going to go back to bed for a while, because this day's just calling for that.

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  All Hail the Queen of Laundry!!!  I did 8-10 loads of it yesterday at my brother's.  This, after him telling me, "I made a pretty good dent in it on Sunday."  Yeah?  Where?!  I swear to Dog, I thought he was taking in wash!!!!!!  But B and his friends played ALLLLLL day and ate everything in site and seemed to have a good time, so it was a win-win!

2.  Dunkin Donuts Vanilla Spice coffee - YUM!!!!

3.  I'm having dinner tonight with one of my high school bff's.  We live 5 minutes from each other and yet, have a hard time getting together, so I'm anxious to catch up with her.

4.  Did I mention that I'm smitten with an amazing man? LOL!!  I am very deeply in like and we both acknowledged how happy we are that we found each other!!!  Keep crossing things!!!

Have a great day!  Travel safely!!

Hugs,

Tia

Good Morning Tia,

I am so glad you had such a great and productive day yesterday. I get a smile every time I read your posts about your new fella. I am so happy for you!

Darla, I hope you are not pushing it by going back to work already. Aside from the shoulder, it takes a little while to get over a bad cold/flu. I am glad to hear you are going to follow up right away on the shoulder. Do you know specifically what you did to trigger it? That will be helpful info. Hoping for good news for you!

I am continuing to have a relaxing time her in Indy. Another cousin lent me a spare car, that I have here at the house. So if I need to run an errand or want to go out, I can. I may try to run a few errands later on to get ready for Thursday.

Today I am grateful for...

1 - Peace - It is still possible to find places on this earth where every moment is filled with calm and peace. It is so relaxing and quiet here. I don't hear the noise of traffic or other people often here. I can sit on the front porch and hear the wind and see the horses frolic at the place across the road. When you go out and pass another car on the road, they wave to you in greeting whether they know you or not.

2 - My pot roast came out OK. Yesterday I made a pot roast in the crock pot for dinner. I wanted to give my cousin a break. She lives here with my Aunt and works too. I wanted her to come home from work and not have to worry about it. I don't cook a lot and sort of improvised.. But it all worked out. I successfully made her happy and that makes me happy. She is like a sister to me. Of course my Aunt enjoyed it too.

3 - Sleep - I have been getting 8 - 10 hours of sleep a night. I usually am lucky to get 5-6. This is glorious!

Have a great day!

Thanks, Debbie!  George is such a nice man - a good father, hard worker, honest, caring - everything I could want.

I am SOOOO glad you're there and getting some much needed peace and quiet and peace of mind!  I'm sure it'll be hard to jump back into things, but hopefully, the "glow" will last a little while.

Even though I'd gladly sell them sometimes, there's nothing like family.  They complete me, as I know yours do you.

Have a great day!

Hugs,
Tia

Darla - I know this will fall on deaf ears, but I really wish you had stayed home.  Especially in this weather.

Have they tried oral steroids for your shoulder?  I had a lot of luck with the Medrol 6 pack and Voltarin topical gel.

Take care of yourself today!!!  Make sure you try to drink extra to flush that cold!!!

Hugs,

Tia

My three things today are:

1.  I'm a day closer to seeing my Mom.  Haven't seen her since March.  Yes, I've been a good daughter and kept in touch via email, but there's nothing like giving Mom a hug, or should I say, getting one from Mom?

2.  The semester is winding to a close, the last day of classes are supposed to be next week, but we are having an extended one on December 5th to make up for the one professor called out sick last Saturday.  And this Saturday is all off because the college observes it as a holiday weekend......so no class this weekend!  Whoot Whoot!

3.  It's a short week this week - wi****'d stop raining though!

Have a great day and for those travelling, please travel safely!

Morning T!  I'm with ya on the Forks thing.  I got a pleasant break of NO RAIN, the entire time I was in Italy, but left here in the rain and we're back to it again.  UGH!  I think we're due for a big break from it, so that we can enjoy what's left of Autumn!

I'm with Debbie ~ I smile every time you mention George!!  Sooooo happy for you and you know that I'm keeping everything crossed.

8-10 loads?  Can I say .  I have a few loads to do, but my back is telling me NOOOOOO!!!

Today, I'm grateful...

1.  A heating pad, a TENS machine, a massage chair, and drugs for my back.  Me thinks I'll be making an appointment with the neurosurgeon again....this is excruciating!

2.  The x-ray of the knee was negative...phew!  Can you imagine needing a cast in this weather?

3.  My sister and I have decided upon a Thanksgiving menu.  I'm bringing ham, sweet potatoes, cornbread & suasage stuffing, cranberry sauce, and green beans w/bacon.  She's making a pumpkin and apple pie and is leaving instructions for her husband to make the corn pudding, mashed taters, and turkey (She's an RN and has to work tomorrow night).  I will be Mike and I, Courtney and Dan, their kids (Isabelle, Liam, and Michaela), and my Dad.  AND MY JACK!!!!

Okay, much to do today,  have a good one,
Heather

I know!!  Cold and gray I can handle - wet, not so much!!!

I can't wait for all of you to meet George - but since he hasn't met my family and I haven't met his kids yet, that'll have to wait a while.

I am SOOOOOOO sorry that your back is still bothering you.  I shudder to think of how badly it would hurt had you done Italy pre-op!!!

Here's to a drama free Turkey Day with your family AND YOUR JACK!!!!!

Muah!  Did I mention how much I missed you and how glad I am that you're back?
